Yes, candidates passing in 2025 and 2026 are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed class 12 in 2024 or before are not eligible for BITSAT 2026.

BITSAT eligibility criteria is released online. Students should have passed 12th class qualifying examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. They should have atleast 75 percent marks in PCM and 60 percent in individual subjects.

BITS, Pilani, has announced the BITSAT 2026 exam dates for sessions 1 and 2. The exam for session 1 will be held from April 15 to 17, while for session 2 it will be held from May 24 to 26, 2026.

• Register at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. To register, they will have to use their name, gender, birthday, email ID and mobile number. A login password also has to be made. After registration, students will get their application number in their email.
• Fill application form with their personal, qualifying exam details, and contact information. Preferred exam cities have to be selected. Preferences will be used to allot exam centres.
• Next, students have to upload their photograph and signature. Documents should be uploaded as per the notification.
• Finally, students will have to pay the BITSAT application fee via credit or debit card or net banking. After payment, students can download the receipt.

B.E. (Except B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engg.), and M.Sc. Programmes:

• Candidates must have passed 12th-grade examination under the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of five subjects is required, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one Language, and any additional subject beyond these four.
• Candidates must score an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and at least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually.
• Both theory and practical components must be considered while calculating percentages.

The authority has announced that the BITSAT 2026 registration closes on March 16, 2026, for session 1 or both.

Aspirants of BITSAT 2026 will be able to register for session 1 or both sessions tomorrow, once the form goes live.
