BITSAT 2026 Application Form Correction: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has announced the BITSAT form correction dates for session 1. The BITSAT application form correction will be available from March 18 to 20, 2026 at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The authority offers this facility to help rectify errors made during the BITSAT registration. The details mentioned in the application form will be used for generating the admit card and scorecard, and during the counselling and admission process. BITSAT 2026 Application Form Correction Dates

BITS, Pilani, has announced the BITSAT application form correction dates. For now, only the session 1 correction dates have been announced. Check the following table for the exact deadlines.

BITSAT Application Form Correction Window

The BITSAT correction window opens after the completion of the application process and before the release of admit cards. Only registered candidates who complete all stages, including fee payment, will be able to access the BITSAT form correction facility. The authority will activate the correction window for BITSAT 2026 will be available on the website, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. No requests for corrections will be entertained once the correction window closes. Changes made through the correction window will be final and cannot be reversed.

How to Edit BITSAT Application Form?

Here’s how to access the BITSAT form correction:

  • Go to the official BITS admission portal.
  • Log in to the candidate portal and enter your application number and password to log in.
  • Click on the ‘Edit Application Form’ or ‘Correction Window’ link displayed on the dashboard.
  • Update only the permitted fields. Double-check all revised information carefully.
  • After reviewing the changes, submit the corrected form.
Q:   Can all details be corrected through BITSAT application correction facility?
A:

No, the students will not be able to correct all of their submitted details through the BITSAT application correction facility. Out of all details, the students cannot edit their gender, email ID and mobile number. While filling out these information in the application form, the students should carefully revise them before submitting it.

Q:   When will BITSAT 2026 application form be released?
A:

BITSAT online application form for session 1 is out now. Application forms for session 2 will release on April 20, 2026. Students must submit the applications before the last date.

Q:   Can I check my BITSAT application fee status?
A:

BITSAT application fee status can be checked online. To check status, candidates have to log in with required details. If there is any problem in payment, students should BITS contact authorities.

Details That Can Be Corrected in BITSAT Application Form

During the correction period, candidates can only edit a few details in the application form. The list of fields which will be available for correction is given below. 

  • Exam centre preferences
  • Academic details (Class 12 board, year of passing, marks)
  • Programme preferences
  • Contact details (email ID, mobile number)
  • Uploaded photograph and signature (if incorrect or unclear)

Q:   What is the final date to submit the BITSAT 2026 application form?
A:

For session 1 and both sessions the BITSAT 2026 application form last date is March 16, 2026. The last date to submit the application form for session 2 is May 2, 2026. Students must apply before the last date otherwise, they will not be issued the admit card.

Q:   How much is the BITSAT application fee?
A:

BITSAT application fee has to be paid online through net banking/credit card/debit card. The application fee is different for each gender, number of sessions and the exam centre choices. This year, the authority has hiked the registration fee. Check the updated fee below.

Q:   What is the mode of payment for BITSAT application fee?
A:

BITSAT application fee has to be paid to be registered for entrance exam. Fee has to be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking/ICICI payment gateway. Offline payments will not be accepted.

Details That Cannot Be Edited

BITS Pilani allows corrections only in specific fields. Certain details are verified at multiple stages of the admission process, so candidates are advised to fill them carefully during initial registration. Check the details that will not be open for edits.

  • Candidate’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Registered email ID (in most cases)
  • Nationality

Common Mistakes to Avoid During Correction

  • Uploading blurred or incorrect documents

BITS Pilani does not reopen the correction facility once it closes. If candidates miss the BITSAT form correction window, then they will have the following problems:
