BITSAT 2026 Counselling: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment, Direct Admission Scheme Result

For the BITSAT counselling 2026 process, the candidates will have to register online at bitsadmission.com. If the candidates fail to register for the counselling process, then they will not be considered eligible for the BITSAT 2026 admission process. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to provide the required details as per their official documents. The authorities will not use any other mode to conduct the BITSAT counselling process. 

BITSAT 2026 counselling process will be online. All candidates who meet the eligibility criteria have to register for the BITSAT counselling process. After the final date, which will be announced soon, the authorities will not accept any registrations.

Step 1: Counselling Registration

First, the candidates will have to visit bitsadmission.com and register for the BITSAT 2026 counselling process. Before registration, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for BITSAT counselling. 

Step 2: Filling out the counselling form

After registration, the candidates will be required to log in and fill out the required details. All of the details submitted have to be valid and according to the documents of the candidates. Once the information is submitted, the authorities will not accept requests to make corrections.

Step 3: 12th standard qualification marks

After filling out their details, the candidates will be required to submit their 12th standard qualification proof. After successfully filling in the required 12th standard qualifying examination information, candidates are advised to take a printout of their duly filled application form and preserve it for future reference. 

Step 4: Submission of preferences

Finally, the candidates will have to select campuses and courses in which they want to secure admission. It was to be noted that the selection of courses and campuses has to be done in order of preference. This is important since the order of preferences will be taken into consideration during the allotment process. The final date to submit the preferences will be announced soon.

During the BITSAT 2026 counselling process, the candidates will have to prepare and submit the following documents for verification. 

• 10th Standard School Certificate and Marksheet
• 12th Standard School Certificate and Marksheet
• BITSAT 2026 Result/Score Card
• BITSAT 2026 Counselling Letter
• Passport Size Colored Photograph
• Photo ID Proof
• Residence Proof

To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to pay the BITSAT 2025 counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. The authorities will also accept offline payment through cash at all ICICI bank branches, along with a specially generated pay-in-slip. If the candidates are not able to pay the counselling fee before the final date, then they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling and admission process.

BITSAT 2026 Counselling Fee - INR 1000

The authorities will announce the BITSAT 2026 seat allotment result in the form of iterations. Candidates can expect seven rounds of BITSAT 2026 iterations. To access the seat allotment of BITSAT 2026, the candidates will have to follow the given steps.

• Click on the iteration link
• Candidates will have to provide their BITSAT 2026 application number and password.
• Click on ‘Login'.
• The seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates who are shortlisted for admission will have to report to the respective BITS campus. Thereafter, candidates will have to confirm their admission by taking part in the document verification process and then paying their admission fee.

The selected candidates wil have to report to their respective campuses for admission confirmation. At the campus, the required fee has to be paid and the documents have to be verified. If the admission confirmation process is not completed before the final date, then the student will lose their allotment. Candidates also have the choice to remain in the BITSAT wait list, if they have not been alloted to their first or second preference. They will be eligible for further rounds of allotment, if seats are vacant.

Central and State Board exam toppers will be eligible for direct admissions into the BITS campuses. They will not require any BITSAT score for admission. The registraiton process for the BITSAT direct admission scheme will be open soon. Eligible candidates will have to register for the BITS 2026 direct admission process online. However, the board toppers will also have to meet the basic eligibility criteria. The authoriities will announce the result for the direct admission. The selected ones will have to confirm their admission.
