BITSAT 2024 counselling process has commenced. Qualified candidates can now log in and submit their 12th standard marks and preferred programmes for BITSAT counselling 2024 and the admission process until July 2, 2024. The authorities will allow the candidates to make corrections to their submitted BITSAT 2024 programme preferences. During the BITSAT counselling 2024 process, the candidates will also have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. BITSAT 2024 seat allotment results will be released in the form of iterations. The authorities will allot seats based on the candidate's BITSAT rank, preferences and seat availability. Q:   When will BITSAT counselling begin?

A:

BITSAT 2024 counselling process has commenced. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the participating campuses of BITS. The authorities will allot seats based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. All candidates will be required to confirm their admission before the final date. 

 

Q:   I am not satisfied with my BITSAT seat allotment. What should I do?

A:

In case the candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, then they can choose to forgo their seats and remain on the wait list. Candidates who are on the wait list can participate in the next round of BITSAT counselling to have a chance of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. In case there are vacant seats, the candidates will have the chance of being allotted into their preferences. Confirmation of admission can be done by verifying the documents and paying the required fee.

 

Q:   Are there any scholarship opportunities available for BITSAT candidates?

A:
Hi there! Good news for BITSAT candidates! Yes, BITS Pilani provides scholarship opportunities to deserving students based on their academic performance and financial status. The scholarship policy may vary depending on the level of study and the course. International students who score a minimum CGPA of 8.0 are eligible for an 80% waiver in tuition fees. Moreover, students who secure the first rank in their respective board examinations are eligible for direct admission.
 

BITSAT 2024 Counselling Process

The authorities conduct BITSAT 2024 counselling to select candidates for admission into the BTech courses the participating campuses offer. Only those candidates who have attempted BITSAT 2024 and secured a valid score are eligible for the counselling process. The registration process for BITSAT counselling 2024 is open at bitsadmission.com. No other mode of application will be accepted for the counselling of BITSAT 2024.

The authorities will conduct BITSAT counselling online for all qualified candidates. A:

To participate in the BITSAT counselling process, the candidates will have to meet the basic eligibility criteria. All candidates should have qualified BITSAT with the required scores or ranks to participate in the counselling process. However, 12th standard national and state board toppers will also be eligible for direct admissions into the participating campuses. The candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the BITSAT counselling process.

 

Q:   Are class 12 board toppers allowed to participate directly in the BITSAT counselling?

A:

Yes. 12th standard national and state board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria will be eligible to participate diretly in the BITSAT counselling. These candidates will be able to apply for direct admissions into the BE courses offered by the campuses of BITS. They will not be required to appear for BITSAT and admissions will be done based on their 12th standard qualifying entrance exmaination scores. How to Fill BITSAT 2024 Counselling Application Form

To be registered for the BITSAT 2024 counselling process, the candidates are advised to follow the given steps. 

Step 1: Registration

Candidates will be required to visit the official website i.e., bitsadmission.com to be registered for the BITSAT counselling 2024. The registration link has been activated for all eligible candidates.

Step 2: Filling out the counselling form

Next, the candidates will have to fill out the BITSAT counselling form with the required details. Some of the information that will be required is the candidate's name, email address, and contact details. Once the details are submitted, they cannot be edited. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while filling out the form. 

Step 3: 12th standard qualification marks

After filling out their details, the candidates will have to submit their 12th standard qualification proof. After successfully filling in the required 12th standard qualifying examination information, candidates are advised to take a printout of their duly filled application form and preserve it for future reference. 

Step 4: Submission of preferences

Finally, the candidates will have to select campuses and courses in which they want to secure admission. It is to be noted that the selection of courses and campuses should be done in the order of preference. This is important since the order of preferences will be taken into consideration during the allotment process.

Q:   What are the steps to be registered for BITSAT counselling?

A:

BITSAT 2024 counselling registration dates have been announced. Eligible candidates can now register for the counselling of BITSAT 2024 at bitsadmission.com until July 2, 2024. To be registered, the candidates will have to provide their basic details, submit their 12th standard marks, and select their choice of courses and campuses. BITSAT counselling fee also has to be paid online. Only the registered candidates will be considered for the BITSAT seat allotment process.

 

Q:   Which details have to be submitted in the BITSAT counselling form?

A:

While filling out the BITSAT counselling form, the candidates will have to provide various personal and academic details. Some of the important details that need to be submitted in the counselling form of BITSAT are - candidate's name, email address, mobile number, address, 12th standard qualifying examination marks, etc. All of the provided details should be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates.

 

Q:   Are candidates required to apply separately for all the campuses of BITS Pilani during the BITSAT counselling?

A:

No. The candidates will not be required to apply separately for admissions into the various campuses of BITS. The authorities will conduct a centralized counselling process for BITSAT qualified candidates. The process will be held online for all qualified candidates who wish to apply for B.Tech admissions into the three campuses - Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Selection of candidates for admissions will be done based on their BITSAT rank, preferences and seat availability. The seat allotment result will be declared online.

 

BITSAT 2024 Counselling Fee

During the BITSAT counselling 2024 process, the candidates will have to pay the required fee of INR 1,000. The fee payment has to be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card or offline through cash at all ICICI bank branches along with a specially generated pay-in-slip. If the candidates are unable to pay the counselling fee before the final date, then they will not be allowed to participate in the BITSAT counselling process.

Q:   What is the BITSAT counselling fee?

A:

While registering for the BITSAT counselling process, the candidates will have to pay the required fee. The BITSAT counselling fee for all candidates is INR 1,000. The fee payment can be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card or offline at the ICICI bank branches with a specially generated pay-in-slip. If the candidates are not able to make the payment, then they will not be able to participate in the BITSAT counselling process. 

 

Q:   I am not able to pay the BITSAT counselling fee online. What should I do?

A:

If the candidates are not able to pay the BITSAT counselling fee online then they are advised to check their credit card/debit card/net banking details. If there is no problem with the details provided, then the candidates can contact the authorities to inform them about the problem with the payment gateway. Candidates can also opt to pay the BITSAT counselling fee offline at the ICICI bank branches with a specially generated pay-in-slip. 

 

Q:   What is the payment mode for BITSAT counselling fee?

A:

The candidates will have to complete the BITSAT counselling fee payment process to be registered for the counselling process. The required counselling fee of INR 1,000 can be paid in two modes - online and offline. For the online payment, the candidates will have to pay the fee through net banking, debit card or credit card through the online payment gateway. However, the offline payment has to be done physically at the ICICI bank branches with a specially generated pay-in-slip.

Q:   Which documents are required for BITSAT counselling?

A:

The candidates will be required to submit certain documents during the BITSAT counselling process. Some of the important documents that the candidates will have to submit for verification while reporting for admission are - 10th and 12th standard certificate and marksheet, BITSAT score card, BITSAT counselling letter, passport size coloured photograph, photo ID proof, residence proof, etc. Candidates are advised to carry both the original and photocopies of the documents to their allotted campus.

 

Q:   Are category certificates required during the BITSAT counselling verification process?

Yes. Candidates who are applying under the reserved category quota will be required to produce their respective category certificates during the BITSAT counselling verification process. If the candidates are not able to confirm their category during the verification, then they will not be allowed to take admission in the respective category. The list of documents required for verification will be prepared and released online by the authorities.

 

Q:   Where do I have to verify my documents during the BITSAT counselling?

A:

After the candidates are successfully allotted seats during the BITSAT counselling process, they will have to confirm their admission. Candidates will be able to confirm their admission by reporting to their allotted campus and submitting their documents for verification. All of the required documents have to be submitted for verification at the campus before the final date. If the candidates are not able to verify their documents before the final date, then their admissions will not be confirmed and the allotment will be cancelled.

 

How to Check BITSAT 2024 Seat Allotment

BITSAT 2024 seat allotment result will be announced online. Candidates will be able to access the BITSAT seat allotment 2024 result by following the given steps.

  • Go to bitsadmission.com
  • Click on the iteration link
  • Candidates will have to provide their BITSAT 2024 application number and password.
  • Click on ‘Proceed'.
  • The seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates who are shortlisted for admission will have to report at the respective BITS campus. Thereafter, candidates will have to confirm their admission by taking part in the document verification process and then paying their admission fee.

Q:   What is the meaning of Iteration rounds in BITSAT counselling?

A:

In the BITSAT counselling, iteration rounds are equivalent to the seat allotment rounds. During every iteration, the authorities will announce the BITSAT seat allotment results for the qualified and registered candidates. Selection of candidates for the iterations are done based on their rank and the preferences that they submit during the counselling registration process. After every BITSAT iteration, the candidates will be informed about their allotted B.Tech course and campus allotted and details to confirm their admission.

 

Q:   How can I check my BITSAT seat allotment result?

A:

BITSAT seat allotment result will be declared online at bitsadmission. Candidates will be able to check their BITSAT seat allotment status by logging in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used to release the seat allotment of BITSAT. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. Only those candidates who have registered for the BITSAT counselling process and have a valid BITSAT score will be eligible for the seat allotment. 

 

Q:   What are the BITSAT admit list and waitlist?

A:

During the BITSAT 2024 admission process, the authorities will release the BITSAT admit list and wait list online. The official BITSAT admit and wait list will be released as Iterations. BITSAT admit list will consist of the names of the candidates who have cleared the minimum cut off criteria for admission. On the other hand, the BITSAT wait list will consist of the names of all the candidates who will be called in for admission in the next round, in case a candidate withdraws his/her seat.

BITSAT 2024 Direct Admission to Board Toppers

BITS 2024 direct admission form is now available until June 25, 2024. Direct admissions into the BTech courses offered by the BITS campuses are offered to the top-rank holders of the Central and State board exams. The candidates will not be required to attempt BITSAT, and can directly apply for the counselling process. However, the board exam toppers will be required to meet the basic eligibility criteria i.e., they should have obtained an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% marks in each subject.

Q:   I am a class 12th board topper. Do I need to participate in BITSAT counselling or will I be offered direct admission to BITS?

A:

For BITSAT admissions, the top-rank holders in central and state board exams will not be required to participate in the centralized counselling process. They will be offered direct admission in courses offered at BITS campuses. The minimum eligibility required by the board exam toppers for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the BITS campuses is an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% marks in each subject. The registration process for the board toppers is now open online at bitsadmission.com until June 25, 2024.

 

Q:   Other than BITSAT what are the other exams a candidate can appear for admission to any of the four campuses of BITs?

A:

BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses offer admissions based on BITSAT scores. There is no other examination that the candidates can appear for to get B.Tech admissions into the participating four campuses. It is essential for the candidates to register, attempt and qualify BITSAT if they wish to study under BITS. However, direct admissions are provided to the board exam toppers. These candidates should have ranked at the top of the board exams and should meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the authorities.

 

Q:   How can I register for the BITSAT direct admission process?

A:

Candidates will be able to register for the BITSAT direct admission online at bitsadmission.com. However, the direct admission will be open only for those candidates who are the toppers of their respective board exams. Along with being a board topper, the candidates will also have to meet the basic eligibility criteria of BITSAT. If these criteria are met, the candidates will be able to apply for the direct admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating campuses of BITS.

 

What after BITSAT 2024 seat allotment?

However, if the campus or course allotted to a candidate is not his/her first preference, then such candidates can choose to remain on the BITSAT waitlist. By doing this candidates will be able to take part in successive counselling rounds for admission into the course/ campus of their higher preference if seats are vacant.

A:

If the candidates fail to report at their allotted institute before the final date, then their BITSAT candidature will be cancelled. All candidates will have to confirm their admission by verifying their documents and paying the counselling fee before the final date. Candidates are advised to check the admission deadline carefully so that they do not miss out the final date. If the candidates are unable to report to their allotted institute due to some problem, then they are advised to contact the authorities immediately.
