IIM Ahmedabad Final Placements 2025 Cluster 1 Concludes.

IIM Ahmedabad Final Placements 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) successfully conducted the first cluster of the Final Placement process for the PGP Class of 2025 on January 31. The IIM-A Final Placements 2025 first cluster saw a diverse set of recruiters, consisting of six cohorts across various domains, including investment banking, management consulting, niche consulting, advisory consulting, private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), and asset management.

Hybrid Mode for a Seamless Placement Experience

This year’s placement process was conducted in hybrid mode, offering recruiters the flexibility to conduct interviews either virtually or physically. The hybrid format allowed a large pool of recruiters to participate, with 47 firms in total taking part in the placement process. This marked the beginning of a highly competitive placement season at one of India's premier management institutes.

Boston Consulting Group Leads with 34 Offers

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) stood out as the largest recruiter during Cluster 1, offering 34 offers to students, reinforcing its strong relationship with IIM Ahmedabad. The management consulting cohort saw participation from several prominent firms, including McKinsey & Company, Kearney, Accenture Strategy, Monitor Deloitte, Simon-Kucher, EY Parthenon, Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG. These firms continue to be regular recruiters at IIM Ahmedabad, highlighting the institute’s strong reputation in the consulting domain.

Investment Banking and Financial Advisory Thriving

The investment banking and markets cohort also saw high participation, with firms such as Avendus Capital, Moelis, and HSBC joining the process. The most offers in this cohort came from Goldman Sachs, which extended eight offers to the students. The cards and financial advisory cohort was dominated by American Express, which rolled out 15 offers, the highest in this category.

Private Equity and Venture Capital Gain Momentum

The Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) sectors experienced an uptick in participation, with firms such as General Atlantic, Everstone, Elevation Capital, and Arga Investment making their presence felt. These sectors continue to gain prominence in the placement process, reflecting the growing demand for talent in these high-growth areas.

International Opportunities for Global Exposure

IIM Ahmedabad students were also offered international placement opportunities, with firms like Transformation X (Dubai) and Arthur D. Little (Riyadh) recruiting for positions abroad. This provides students with the chance to gain exposure to global markets and work with international firms, enhancing their career prospects.

IIM-A Placements 2025 Clusters 2 and 3 on February 3 and 6

With the successful conclusion of Cluster 1, the institute now looks forward to the upcoming clusters. Cluster 2 took place on February 3, 2025, followed by Cluster 3 is scheduled for February 6, 2025. These clusters will see further participation from leading firms across various industries, ensuring that the students of the PGP Class of 2025 continue to secure top-notch opportunities in the job market.
