NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, AIIMS Delhi ranks #1 under the category 'Medical'.
The INI CET Jan 2026 open round registrations and choice filling window is open for admission to MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh courses. The last date for the same is Jan 30, 2026 (by 5 PM). Further, the open round seat allocation results will be announced on Feb 20, 2026.

- The NEET UG 2025 counselling process is now over for admission to all UG-level medical courses, with the announcement of final results for round 5.
- The AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026 registration window will tentatively open in Apr 2026, and the exam will be held tentatively on Jun 28, 2026.

AIIMS Delhi was established in 1952. It was granted the 'Autonomous' status in 1956 by an Act of Parliament.
AIIMS Delhi is the first AIIMS to be established in the country. The institute is recognised as an Institute of National Importance. The institute works under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS Delhi offers admission for UG, PG, Doctoral and Super Speciality courses such as BSc, MSc, MD, MDS, MS, and PhD, among others. Admission to any of the course is conducted based on entrance. Therefore, candidates must prepare for the accepted entrance exams such as NEET UG, AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Exam, INICET, Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF/ ICMR - JRF/ ICMR- SRF/ DBT - JRF/ NBHM screening test/ INSPIRE fellowship.

Yes, MSc is quite affordable at AIIMS Delhi. The total tuition fee for MSc is INR 1,400. Candidates need to pay a one-time fee of INR 25 at the time of admission. AIIMS is a government institute and has a very low fee compared to other Medical colleges of India. AIIMS Delhi INICET cutoff 2024 was concluded with the release of last round of seat allotment results. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff for different specialisations varied between 1 and 2904 for various MD/MS/MCh/DM specialisations. The most difficult specialisation among the General AI category was MDS in Orthodontics. On the other hand, the easiest specialisation was MD in Anatomy.
Yes, AIIMS Delhi is almost free for all the programmes including MBBS MD MS PG Diploma M.Ch. DM DNB etc. For MBBS the admission charges (non-refundable) are INR 25 at the time of admission and INR 35 per day for the first 10 days. Other than this, there is no annual fee at AIIMS Delhi. Students must make a one-time payment between INR 5,000 to INR 6,000 which is the fee for the complete MBBS course of 5.5 years.
AIIMS Delhi Cutoff 2025
As per the recent NEET UG MBBS cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closed off on rank 48 for General AI quota students. Whereas, the NEET UG Round 1 cutoff for the General AI quota students for the year 2024 closed off at 47. The same category cutoff closed off at 57 in the year 2023.
As per the recent Paramedical cutoff 2025, Round 2 for General AI quota candidates for BSc specialisations closed off between the ranks 9 and 293. Specialisations of BSc such as Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) and Operation Theatre Technology received the highest level of competition with rank 9 and 39. AIIMS Delhi Popular Programmes 2025
All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi offers various programmes at several levels, such as UG, PG, PhD, etc. The programmes are offered across various fields, including Medicine, Nursing, Medical, and others. MBBS is the flagship programme of AIIMS Delhi. MBBS is offered for a duration of five and a half years.

AIIMS Delhi Admission Process and Important Dates 2025
The mode of All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on the scores of entrance exams. For admission to its MBBS programme, All India Medical Institute Delhi accepts the NEET UG exam, while for admission to its PG programmes (MD, MS, MDS), the institute accepts the scores of INICET. AIIMS Delhi admissions also accept the scores of the INI SS exam for admission to its super speciality courses.
Further, the institute conducts various entrance exams for its BSc and MSc courses, including AIIMS Nursing Exam and AIIMS Paramedical Exam. AIIMS Delhi offers paramedical B.Sc. courses, including Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology.
These courses are full-time degree programs of 3–4 years.
There isn't a 2-year B.Sc RIT programme at AIIMS Delhi.

For AIIMS B.Sc Nursing, its safer to follow the old NCERT. As some exams still ask questions from the deleted portions, please cover the deleted chapters too.
