As per some media reports, SBI PO 2025 mains result will be announced by the third week of May (by this week). The SBI PO 2025 mains result is released in PDF format as a merit list, including the roll numbers of all the qualified candidates. The SBI PO 2025 scorecard is also released along with the result. Marking Scheme Followed to Calculate SBI PO 2025 Mains Result

The marking scheme for the SBI PO Mains exam is as follows:

  • Negative Marking in Objective Test: For every incorrect answer in the objective section, one-fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to that specific question will be deducted as a penalty. This means if a question carries 2 marks, 0.5 marks will be deducted for a wrong response.
  • No Negative Marking in Descriptive Test: The descriptive section (Essay and Letter Writing) is not subject to negative marking, so candidates will not lose marks for errors or poor responses, though quality matters for scoring.
  • No Penalty for Unanswered Questions: If a candidate chooses to leave a question blank, there will be no deduction of marks for that question, regardless of the section.
