Candidates are required to fill SBI PO application form online only. The application fee is INR 750 for General/ EWS/ OBC. While SC/ ST/PWD candidates are required to pay the application fees. Candidates can pay the application fee online. The steps to fill SBI PO application form are explained below:

1. Visit the official website of SBI 
2. Click the ‘New Registration’ link on the home page of SBI 
3. Enter name, mobile number, email ID, and security code to register
4. Upon successful registration, the registration number and password will be generated
5. Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature as per the given dimension
6. Fill the basic details, personal details, educational qualification and work experience
7. Preview the application form of SBI
8. Pay the application fees
9. Submit SBI PO application form

SBI PO admit card is released online separately for different stages of the recruitment process. Candidates can access SBI PO admit card by logging with the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The admit card will have details related to the exam time, exam date, reporting time, exam centre, etc. The steps to download SBI PO admit card are given below:

1. Visit the career page of SBI
2. Go to the ‘current opening’ section from the ‘join SBI’ tab
3. Click the link ‘Recruitment of Probationary Officers in SBI’
4. From the drop-down click, the admit card link of SBI PO 
5. Enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password
6. SBI PO admit card appears on the screen
7. Download the admit card and take its printout

The starting basic pay of PO is INR 41,960 (with four advance increments). According to SBI PO salary, the pay scale of Junior Management Grade Scale-I is INR 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The officials are also eligible for DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, Medical, and other allowances. The job profile of SBI PO is given below:

• SBI PO candidates typically have a graduate degree in any discipline and must pass a written examination and interview process to be selected for the role.

The exam pattern of SBI PO is divided into the preliminary exam, mains exam, and Interview (Or Interview & Group Exercises). According to SBI PO exam pattern, the prelims exam paper is divided into three sections. The prelims exam carries a total of 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks. The mains exam comprises both descriptive-type and objective-type questions. The total marks for the mains exam are 250. Phase III of the SBI PO mains exam may comprise Interview only (50 marks) or Interview (30 marks) and Group Exercises (20 marks).

SBI PO Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of SBI PO is given below.

• One-fourth of marks assigned to a particular question in the objective test are deducted as a penalty to arrive at the corrected scores
• For correct answers, candidates score one mark
• The total marks are calculated based on the correct and incorrect responses

SBI PO prelims syllabus comprises the topics from Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. SBI PO mains syllabus comprises the topics from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Data Interpretation & Analysis and General/Economy/Banking Awareness. SBI PO syllabus is given below:

• Reasoning Ability: Logical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Input-Output and many more.
