SBI PO Notification 2026 OUT: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the SBI PO exam 2026 on June 18 for a total of 1500 Vacancies. IAlong with the announcement of the notification, SBI PO application form also released. The last date to apply is July 8, 2026. Closure for editing application details is July 8 and last date of printing application is July 23. The online fee payment can be done from June 18 to July 8. Any graduate candidate can apply for the SBI PO exam. The Prelims exam is expecetd to be held in August, Mains in September and Psychometric Test, Group Exercises & Interview in October/November 2026.

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern of SBI PO is divided into the preliminary exam, mains exam, and Interview (Or Interview & Group Exercises). According to SBI PO exam pattern, the prelims exam paper is divided into three sections. The prelims exam carries a total of 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks. The mains exam comprises both descriptive-type and objective-type questions. The total marks for the mains exam are 250. Phase III of the SBI PO mains exam may comprise Interview only (50 marks) or Interview (30 marks) and Group Exercises (20 marks).

Yes. There is negative marking in the SBI PO exam in both Prelims and Mains for the objective-type questions. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks or 1/4th marks are deducted but for un attempted or skipped questions none of the marks are deducted.

The application fee for the SBI PO exam varies or differs as per the categories. For General and OBC category it is INR 750 and for SC/ST/PwBD there is no fee it is exempted.
