SBI PO Prelims Exam Centres
SBI PO prelims exam is conducted in the following cities for the registered candidates. SBI PO exam pattern is such that it comprises 100 objective-type questions and is divided into three sections. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. The pre-exam training of SBI PO is conducted at the centres prescribed for the prelims exam. Candidates need to select one exam centre each for the prelims and mains exams. The interview, psychometric test and group exercises are conducted at some cities allotted for the mains exam. SBI PO exam centres can be selected while filling the application form. The steps to select SBI PO exam centres are given below:

Some of the SBI PO exam day guidelines are given below:
- The reporting time of SBI PO is mentioned on the admit card. Candidates must reach as per their reporting times. Late comers will not be allowed to take the exam
- Candidates need to affix their recent passport-size photograph along with two additional photographs
- SBI PO prelims admit card will not be collected at the exam venue. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam officials. Candidate will need to retain the call letter (along with an authenticated/stamped copy of the ID proof) safely. Candidates called for the mains exam will be required to bring both duly authenticated/stamped original prelims call letter along with the mains call letter and other required documents to the exam centre
- Candidates must bring stationery such as pencils, ball point pen and eraser
- Candidates must bring glue for pasting photos and ink stamp pad for affixing left thumb impression
- The sheet for rough work will be provided at the exam centre

The selection process of SBI PO comprises prelims exam, Mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises & interview. Final selection is done based on the Mains exam and group exercises and interview. After downloading the SBI PO admit card, candidates must check all the details printed on it carefully. For spelling error in the name, candidates must immediately report to the examination authority after the admit card is released. After correction, the examination authority issues a fresh SBI PO admit card. The identity of candidates is verified at the entry gate of the exam centre as per the photo-identity proof. If there is any mismatch of information, candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates are required to carry one valid photo-identity proof to the exam centre.
