Kerala University provides offers three-year BCA, LL M, BSc, BEd, BVoc, BA, BBA, BCom, BFA, BHMCT, BMS, and BSW courses, five-year BArch two-year BEd and four-year BHM and BTech courses at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, Kerela University provides two-year MTech, MSc, MA, MEd, MArch, MA, MCA, MCom, MCJ, MPA, MPEd, MPlan, MSW and MVA courses, and one-year MLISc course. Additionally, the University of Kerela also provides MPhil and PhD programmes to the students. The criteria for admission to undergraduate programmes at Kerala University, with the exception of BTech, BPA BFA and BEd are merit-based and based on class 12 exam results. Additionally, the entrance test is the basis for all PG admissions.

The course fee for the Kerala University is comparatively affordable. For the BTech course, the fee ranges between INR 45 K and INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, for the MTech and MBA courses, the fees ranges between 53 K and 8 lakh,  respectively. Yes, admission to the postgraduate-level course is based on a common entrance exam conducted by the university. It is conducted by CSSAC. Candidates seeking admission must take the test as re-examination is not carried out under any circumstances. Kerala University PG Entrance Exam response sheets are marked either digitally or by a examiners panel approved by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. The type of questions asked in the exams are multiple choice types. Additionally, negative marking is also applicable, and hence, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
