AIIMS BSc Nursing Application Form 2026: Registration Last Date, Exam Fees, How to Apply

AIIMS, New Delhi, examination section states particular eligibility criteria for AIIMS BSc Nursing to pursue the BSc programme. AIIMS Nursing 2026 eligibility criteria for various programmes at the undergraduate level are mentioned below:

AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026 Eligibility 

• Candidates should have cleared Class 12 exams or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
• Candidates of the general category should have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate

AIIMS BSc Paramedical 2026 Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board/university, having Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology or Maths subjects
• Candidates from the General/EWS/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 45 per cent in aggregate

AIIMS BSc Nursing (Post-basic) 2026 Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board/university, having Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology or Maths subjects. However, candidates who have qualified for class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply.
• Candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council-recognized institution.
• Candidates must have registered themselves as a nurse or as a midwife with the State Nursing Council. In the case of male nurses, besides being registered nurses, they should have six months of training in any of the mentioned subjects is mandatory.

The AIIMS BSc nursing document submission is a mandatory step for registration. The following documents need to be kept ready before filling out the AIIMS BSc nursing application form 2026:

• A valid mobile number
• A valid e-mail ID
• A valid credit/debit card and net banking details
• Passport-size photograph.
• A scanned image of the signature
• Scanned image of thumb impression
• Category certificate (For SC/ST/PwD category)

AIIMS Nursing 2026 application process will be conducted in two stages by AIIMS Delhi. It is mandatory to complete the AIIMS BSc nursing application form 2026 formalities for both stages. Failing to provide information in any of the two stages will result in rejection. The AIIMS Nursing Application form-filling process uses the newly introduced Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system.

AIIMS PAAR Registration Process

The AIIMS Nursing application process 2026 comprises of following two stages:

• Stage 1: Basic Registration
• Stage 2: Final Registration

Stage 1: AIIMS Nursing Basic Registration

Basic registration will begin in April 2026. In this stage, the candidates will have to provide their details such as name, date of birth, email ID (for communication purposes), mobile number (to share information and code via SMS), and then the scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of the signature, and thumb impression. All India Institute of Medical Sciences will share a registration ID and a password with the candidate to conclude the Basic Registration process. The shared registration ID and password should be kept safe by the candidates for future reference.

Stage 2: AIIMS Nursing Final Registration

Candidates whose AIIMS Nursing application forms will be accepted will receive the registration ID and password. After the basic registration, candidates had to proceed with the final registration. AIIMS has made it mandatory that the candidates can not proceed with the final registration process without generating the code and payment of the application fee. Candidates must provide their academic details and submit their choice of the city as the exam centre in the final registration stage.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 (BSc) application fee must be paid via online mode using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking. The AIIMS nursing application fee for the previous academic year was INR 2000/- for general category candidates and INR 1,600/- for reserved category candidates. 

AIIMS Nursing Application Form: Tips on Mistakes to Avoid

1. Candidates are required to complete the basic registration first; only then will they be able to proceed with the Final registration. So do not skip the basic registration.  
2. Provide only an active email and mobile number to check the updates regularly
3. Read the eligibility criteria carefully, and choose the correct reservation category, as it cannot be altered later during application correction
4. Do not upload incorrect or blurry documents
5. Do not forget to save or print the final confirmation page  
6. Apply well before the deadline to avoid the last-minute rush 

The first stage will be the AIIMS Nursing Basic Registration 2026. It will not involve payment of any AIIMS nursing application fee for candidates irrespective of caste and gender. In the final registration stage, candidates whose application forms will be accepted will have to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable application fee.

The AIIMS Nursing Application Correction facility will be extended to the candidates when the application process concludes. During this exercise, candidates will be given an option to make amends to the details entered incorrectly in the AIIMS nursing application form. Typically, a timeline of 2-3 days is extended for this practice. If a candidate fails to provide the correct information, then he/she will not be allowed to make any further changes to the application form. Later, if the information is found to be invalid, then the candidates will be disqualified from participating in the admission process. 

The AIIMS Nursing Application Correction will be an opportunity to fix errors to ensure that the application form gets accepted for admission. Candidates are advised to double-check the AIIMS nursing application form before submitting it. Once submitted, no further chance will be given to alter the information.
