The JENPAS UG 2026 registration process will commence for the academic year 2026-27 in April 2026. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will open the application window online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/. It will also extend the application correction facility for a period of 2 days. Aspirants will be allowed to make changes in the application form, such as edit/modify the online form. The JENPAS UG 2026 exam is expected to be held in May 2026.

JENPAS UG Eligibility Criteria 2026

The JENPAS UG 2026 eligibility criteria stipulate that the candidate applying for the exam must be an Indian Citizen. There is no bar on the Gender. Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam. However, only female candidates are eligible to seek admission to the Government nursing colleges. The minimum age for the BSc nursing programme is 17 years as of December 31 in the year of the examination to be held. Considering the educational qualification, an aspirant must have passed Class 12 in PCB subjects from a recognised university or board at the state or national level.

How to fill JENPAS UG Application Form 2026?

Here are quick steps to help you glide through the process easily:

Visit the JENPAS UG official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/
Provide a correct phone number and email ID to create an admission ID and password on the portal of WBJEEB. The candidate will receive SMS and email at the registered mobile number and email ID.
When the application number gets generated, log in again to fill out the application form.
The first step is to select one of these choices

Paper-I only
Paper-II only or
Both Paper-I and Paper-II

Choose the test centre location from among the given choices as per availability and preference.
Then upload relevant images in JPEG format. It should be a recent color photograph and signature.
Scanned images of important documents, such as a certificate or mark sheet, should also be uploaded in PDF format.

Q: I appeared for the JENPAS exam last year. Can I again apply this year as well?

Yes, there is no restriction on the number of times a candidate can appear for the JENPAS UG exam. A candidate can take multiple attempts provided he/she fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by WBJEEB. The OMR-based JENPAS UG exam allows candidates to seek admission to courses such as BSc nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc CCT, BSc OTT, BSc PT, BSc PA, BSc MMB, BVSO, BHA, among other paramedical and allied courses.

JENPAS UG Application Fee 2026

The JENPAS UG application fees had to be paid by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card only. For only Paper-1 or only Paper-2, the JENPAS UG application fee must be paid in full along with the Bank's service charges as applicable. It was mandatory to pay the JENPAS UG application fees to complete the registration process.

Once the application fee was paid, a fee payment Confirmation Page appeared on the screen, affirming the successful completion of all the above steps. It is advised to download the ’Confirmation Page' for future use. Candidates who participated in the JENPAS UG 2026 application process were informed about the updated fee. Q: Can male candidates apply for the JENPAS UG exam?

Yes, both male and female candidates can apply and appear for the JENPAS UG exam. However, male candidates are not eligible for admission in the BSc nursing course in government colleges of West Bengal. They can only apply to the private colleges to pursue the BSc nursing course.

Q: What is the age limit to apply for the JENPAS UG exam?

Consider it as a last chance given by WBJEEB to make changes in the application form during the correction period. It is done to ensure that candidates submit a correct JENPAS UG application form. Suppose any candidate wants to make changes or do corrections to the wrongly entered information in his/her JENPAS UG application form. In that case, he/she will be able to do so after logging in during the given correction period. Any request after the correction period will not be entertained by the conducting body under any circumstances.
