The WB ANM GNM exam pattern is very important to understand for candidates appearing for the exam. ANM is called Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery while the full form of GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery). Both are two most popular nursing courses in India. West Bengal conducts a separate entrance exam for candidates domiciled in the state to grant admission to ANM and GNM courses. These two courses are distinct from the BSc nursing programme.

The WB ANM/GNM exam 2025 was held on October 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted in offline mode at the designated test centres in West Bengal. Each candidate will be provided with an OMR sheet. Candidates will have to darken the responses to choose the correct answer. Once a response is marked, it cannot be edited/changed/erased/modified. The entrance exam is conducted once a year by the exam-conducting body.

The WB ANM registration process was conducted entirely online. This year WB ANM application process began in the last week of August. Applicants had to visit the official website of WBJEEB, wbjeeb.nic.in. Create an account by registering using your personal details. Complete and submit the application form, scan and upload a copy of your picture and signature, followed by paying the application fee in online mode.
