AUCET Application Form and Registration Online

Andhra University is one of the renowned and established varsities in the nation as the Andhra University offers various courses and programmes online. For admission to the University, entrance exams are conducted. Students are required to clear the entrance exam and make the merit list in order to get admission to the course applied for. For admission to postgraduate courses, students have to clear the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET). For admission to BTech and MTech courses, students have to clear the Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET). For admission to MPhil and PhD courses, students have to clear APRCET.

For AUCET, students are required to register themselves and apply online in order to appear for AUCET. Before applying, students are required to meet the AUCET eligibility criteria. It is imperative for the aspirant to meet the eligibility criteria. If a person is found ineligible, the candidate’s application will be immediately rejected. The AUCET eligibility criteria vary for the different courses offered which are as follows:

Biochemistry

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Chemistry/Biochemistry from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Biotechnology

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Biotechnology/Botany/Microbiology/Environmental Sciences/Zoology/Chemistry from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Agriculture Biotechnology

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Botany/Agriculture/Forestry/Genetics/Environmental Sciences from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Environmental Sciences

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Agriculture/Environmental Sciences/Botany/Biology from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Botany

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Botany/Zoology/Biology from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Human Genetics

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Biochemistry from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Zoology

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Zoology/Biology/Genetics/Biology from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Microbiology

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Environmental Studies from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Physics

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Mathematics/Physics from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Chemistry

The candidate needs to have done their BSc in either Chemistry/Biochemistry from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

MCom

The candidate needs to have done their BCom or BBM from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Applied Economics

The candidate needs to have done their BA in Economics or equivalent subject from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Economics

Ancient History

The candidate needs to have done their BA in History or equivalent subject from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

History

The candidate needs to have done their BA in History or equivalent subject from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

Philosophy

The candidate needs to have done their BA in any subject from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

MHRM

-

The candidate should have done their BA/BBA in any discipline from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

MPEd

-

The candidate should have done their BPed from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50%.

How to Apply for AUCET

Candidates will have to follow the below-mentioned steps on how to register and apply online for AUCET which are as follows:

AUCET Registration

The first step one has to make is to register themselves online on the official website of Andhra University. The candidate can follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Andhra University.

Step 2: On the homepage of the varsity, the candidate has to click on ‘Directorate of Admissions’. From there, the candidate has to click on ‘AUDOA’.

Step 3: The candidate will have to click on AUCET to apply online.

Step 4: On clicking on the AUCET, the candidate will be directed to a new page.

Step 5: The candidate will then have to click on 'Registration', which will be mentioned on the left-hand side panel. 

Step 6: On clicking on the 'Registration' link, the candidate will be directed to a new page and will have to enter the basic details to register which are as follows:

Step 7: Once the candidate has successfully registered, they have to proceed to fill up the application form.
The candidate can view the application form and can make the changes if required. The candidate can click on 'Edit Form'. 

Upload the Images

The candidate has to then upload the images of on the application form such as their Passport size photograph and Signature. The dimension and size are as follows;

Pay Application Fee

Once the candidate has uploaded the images, they can proceed to pay the application fee which is: 
Caste Application Fee (In Rs)

SC/ST/PH 500

The candidate has to make the payment online by any of the following methods: 

Net Banking Credit Card Debit Card

Once the candidate has made the payment, they will receive an SMS and a mail on their official email-IDs. The candidate has then successfully applied online for AUCET. 

Print Application Form

The last and final step is the print the application form. It is advisable to take a print out of the application form as it will be required during the counselling session and can be used if there are any technical issues. The candidate will have to log in by entering their application number and date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
