Make a one-month preparation plan
To succeed in preparing for BCECE 2020 within 30 days, one has to make a plan that includes week-wise and day-wise preparation. This would prove to be helpful in prioritising the difficult topics from the syllabus first then the easy ones. Moreover, the week-wise preparation strategy should include an analysis to know the exact level of preparedness for the examination. Candidates need to allot time for each subject depending upon their strengths and weaknesses. There will be three-subjects that they have to attempt in the examination, therefore, equal efforts on the subjects would be fruitful. Here is a week-wise plan for a rough idea on how to begin for BCECE 2020 one month preparation:
Week 1 - Clarify concepts from all subjects, make notes and cross-check the syllabus for strengths and weakness. List out the strong topics and weak topics separately. Now, from the weak topics, list out the topics that you have at least basic understanding. Do this before starting preparation i.e. on Day 1 (0 hours of preparation). Now, according to the scheduled time i.e. 6-8 hours of the day, begin the preparation with the subject that you have more weaknesses in.
Week 2 - Start taking mock tests, and analyse each topic accordingly. Find out the key improvement areas and, clarify concepts once again and take help of the preparation notes. Also, keep working on test-taking skills and, revise the topics for at least an hour of the day.
Week 3 - Start revision along with the mock tests i.e. continue with Week 2 but with more mock tests and revisions. Focus on improving test-taking skills and time-management. Do take breaks between the preparation schedule or you'll get exhausted. Do not worry about the unprepared topics, since there will be negative marking and, these topics can create confusions than help you score well. Remember each question carries 4 marks, which is sufficient to score well in the exam with well-prepared topics.
Week 4 - Revision, and more revision then take mock tests. Relax and be confident as you have put enough efforts in the exam preparation.
