Admission to CU Kashmir includes merit and entrance based eligibility criteria. Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu usually releases the application form in May. The application closes by June. SKUAST also opens the correct window for submitted application form in the first week of June. Aspirants can apply online once the portal opens for the preferred course.

Kashmir University admissions are primarily entrance-based. The university conducts KUET for admission to UG and PG courses. The university also accepts CMAT for MBA, GATE for MTech, GPAT for MPharm, GAT-B for MSc Biotechnology. The university also considers scores in UGAT, JEE Main, etc.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University offers BE/BTech courses with a duration of 4 years. Admission to this course is based on JEE Main scores and it is not possible to get admission to SMVDU Katra without JEE Main or CUET UG.

Along  with this a lot of courses are offered by this university and all have different eligiblity and criterias. All applicants have to fill the Common Application form through ONLINE Mode for admission in UG and PG programmes.The candidates will be submitting an appication fee of Rs. 1,500/- while filling the ONLINE Application Form.
