College surrounded by trikuta hills.

Placements: TCS, Wipro, L&T, and other companies visited my college every year. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. If someone wanted to do internships our college also provided internships to students. Students need to maintain CGPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. College provided high-speed internet connectivity and smart classes. There was a big library. Classrooms were well organized and equipped with CCTV cameras. Hostel infrastructure was good. But hostel food was not that good. There was a huge sports ground also.

Faculty: Highly qualified teachers were there. Good projects to train our future. Difficulty of the exam was moderate. It covered everything tough in class. 36 marks out of 100 were passing marks. The students were made ready to face all the difficulties, they will face during their jobs through courses.

Other: I chose the college because of its good infrastructure and good ranking.

Good campus life and excellent campus area.

Placements: 40% of students got placed in my course. 1 LPA is the lowest package, 3 LPA is the average package and 17 LPA is the highest package. L&T Construction, Ambuja Cement, and Pidilite are the top recruiters. Almost 30% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: There are high-tech labs and good Wi-Fi connectivity. Projectors are available in classrooms. Library has huge variety of books. Two sharing rooms are available in hostel. 4 badminton courts are available in my hostel. A large mess is available with good quality food. A medical dispensary is available on the campus with ambulance.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and with better experience. Course curriculum is relevant and it surely makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not much difficult and easy to pass and the pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest and there is nothing to improve about my course. There is an annual fest celebrated with full enthusiasm.

Detailed review of SMVDU.

Placements: I am in civil engineering branch, and about 50% of students got placed. The highest package is 30 LPA and the average is 7 LPA. The top recruiters for our college are L&T, Bosch, etc. About 70% of students got internships in our college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our department is not so good. We don't have our department we have to study in the architecture department. In our hostel, rooms are very big and clean but hostels washrooms are so bad even animals can't go there. Mess food is good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good, they are well-educated and friendly with students. They clear our doubts but the teaching method is old because of the infrastructure we don't have smart boards. The semester level exam is moderate to difficult. Almost 90% of students get passed.

Satisfied with all facilities, but the hostel infrastructure is not good. Overall, good.

Placements: I don't know much about placements because I am currently in my 2nd semester, and placements start from the 7th semester. However, I have heard from some seniors that placements for the civil branch are pretty average. The average package is 3-4 LPA. A minimum CGPA of 6.5 and no backlogs for sitting in placements.

Infrastructure: In the university, the civil branch has a combined department with architecture, where they provide three classrooms for civil students and some labs. The university also has a one central library and a gym. In the hostel, the university provides all basic necessities, but the only reason they lack is cleanliness, as hostels are not up to that level. The food provided is not good. But the overall experience is good.

Faculty: Faculty members of the civil branch are very good, and all teachers are well-qualified, but sometimes they fail to connect with students. The civil engineering course provides us with all theoretical knowledge and also teaches us about the industry and the future of civil engineering. There are two exams in one semester a minor exam which is of 20 marks and one major exam of 40 marks. The rest 40 marks depend on the professor, whether he can take quiz or assignment.

Other: The only reason I chose this course is because of my family background, and I also know some professors. The only thing I would like them to improve is that they should give more practical knowledge and also put less pressure on students. The college has many fests and functions, including Ekatva, Musical Fest, Dance Club, and Zenith Club. The university also has extracurricular activities and tournaments for sports like Sarang.

An honest and unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

Placements: I am currently in my first year second semester in civil engineering. There are only 28 students in my batch. We don't know about our placements but the average placement is 5 LPA which is lower than expected. The number of students placed is also less than expected.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is quite good. The hostel is also very nice. Rooms are very neat and look more like hotel rooms. The infrastructure of our washrooms is even worse than railway toilets. There is Wi-Fi everywhere. There is a library inside the hostel. You can play badminton. We have a very large ground on our campus where you can play any sport.

Faculty: We have well-qualified faculty, especially in my course which is civil engineering. The faculty is very well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. I don't know much about the curriculum, but it seems currently the curriculum of all the branches is the same for the first year. The semester exams are not too easy and not too hard. The minimum percentage required to pass is 36%.

Other: The best thing about our college is the social life and the well-planned structure. Roads inside the college you can go from anywhere and can end up in the place you want on the map. The building is very good. There is a lot of crowd in college that is all students. The nightlife of the college is also very good. The view is very good. The season and the weather are just amazing.

A rich and diverse culture, natural air and green environment make the college perfect for students.

Placements: The university has a good placements record. About 75% of students get campus placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 60 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 9-11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Jaypee, HCC, GMR Group, etc., visit our campus for placements. Around 45% of students got early internships in various fields.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and living conditions of our hostels are good. All types of modern equipment and devices, including Wi-Fi, are available here. Our college provides libraries, laundry, labs, etc. The quality of the food served in a mess is good, and it serves a variety of dishes across the whole week. Canteen, gym, hospitals, etc., are also available here.

Faculty: Teachers in our university are highly qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality is appreciable. The course curriculum is relevant, but it needs some changes. Overall, it is beneficial for the students and makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams range from average to high degree of difficulty.

Good campus life and enjoyable

Placements: About 70 percent students get placed in my course. Highest package is 8 lakh /year And the lowest package is 4lakh / year. Top recuriting companies are larsen and turbo , Gammon India , Shapoorji,SRM contractors. Top roles are they give knowledge about software.

Infrastructure: In hostels and mess there are wifi facilities along with rooms have lane ports. There is Library also having proper air conditioning,manys books . The canteen is also their in every hostel ,mess food is also good and the campus life is also good and enjoyable.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful in nature the teaching quality is also good . The semester exams are moderate. And the passing percentage is 36/100 which is easy to get in whole semester. Yes the technical knowledge also given in this college field knowledge also they give.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment of the college.

Placements: The placement in the batch is just said to be average. Some of the top recruiters of our college are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. The average package is around Rs 5.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: For this, I ranked the university as excellent. As it fulfills the basic need of every student. There is Wi-Fi in almost every hostel and department. Library is as good as another library. There are many books and digital library which are accessible to the student round the clock. The quality of facilities available in our hostel is very good. The quality of food is not so good but it is up to the mark. Universities has its own gym and a big ground which is available for playing.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also good. Almost every teacher holds a Ph.D. degree and the teachers are very helpful as well as understanding.
