AIIMS Hyderabad admission is entrance-based. Admission criteria varies for different courses. AIIMS Hyderabad eligibility and selection criteria of various courses is given in the following table:

Please Note: Candidates who have already qualified for a national fellowship such as UGC NET, CSIR NET, JRF, GATE, or ICMR JRF are awarded a special bonus of 10 marks for selection in AIIMS Hyderabad PhD.

Students need to apply for courses on their respective portal. Details are given below:

• Candidates can apply on Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal for admission in MBBS.
• For admission in BSc (Hons.) Nursing, MSc Nursing as well as MD / MS and DM / MCh, candidates can apply on centralised AIIMS Exams website portal.

AIIMS Hyderabad MBBS Admission

To get admission in MBBS at AIIMS Hyderabad, students can follow the steps given below:

Step 1: NEET Registration

To get admission in AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS, students need to apply via the NEET UG entrance examination. They can follow the steps given below to apply:

• Go to the NTA NEET-UG application page and click on the "New Candidate Register Here" button.
  
• Input basic details, valid email address and mobile number.
• Submit to generate your unique Application Number.
• Login to enter personal and academic details.
• Select your preferred Question Paper Medium and select up to four choices for your Exam City Centers.
• Upload Scanned Documents and pay application fees.

Please Note: The online NEET-UG application fee is INR 1,700 for General candidates, INR 1,600 for OBC/EWS candidates, INR 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, and INR 9,500 for candidates applying from outside India.

Step 2: NEET Counselling

After NTA releases NEET cutoff, NEET UG counselling is carried out in several rounds. Depending on their seat allocation, students can accept the seats or they can choose to hold their current seat while applying for an upgrade in subsequent rounds.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

Those students who will be granted seats in the counselling process will have to report to AIIMS Bibinagar campus for documentation verfication. The documents required for MBBS admission (original & 2 self-attested copies) are as follows.

• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS, if applicable)
• PwBD Disability Certificate (issued by MCC-approved board, if applicable)
• 8 Passport-Size Photographs (matching your NEET application)
