- The NATA 2026 application window is open for the BArch programme. The phase 1 examinations will be held till June 13, 2026, and the phase 2 exam will take place on Aug 7 and Aug 8, 2026.
AKTU BArch Eligibility & Highlights 2024
BArch is a five-year course offered by AKTU and admissions to this course at AKTU are based on NATA scores. There is no upper age limit but candidates need to be at least 16 years of age as of December 31 of the current academic year to pursue this course. Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. AKTU offers a full-time DPharm through City Group of College, which is a college affiliated to AKTU. The college offers a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy for candidates who have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. Admission to the programme is granted based on the applicants' merit in Class 12, subject to fulfiment of the eligibility criteria and availability of seats. The DPharm fee at City Group of College is INR 5.2 lakh. The mentioned fee is sourced from official sources but is still subject to change.

Presently, the University houses four constituent colleges, including the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Architecture Lucknow, Centre for Advanced Studies, UP Institute of Design Noida. AKTU offers various UG and PG courses based on IPU CET exam through its affiliated colleges. In connection to it, the university has released the cutoff for various All India and Home State quotas. Every year, UP State releases a notification for fee reimbursement for the students of AKTU and its affiliated colleges. DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability. If seats are available after AKTU round six of the counselling process, the University will release the special round to fulfil their vacant seats.
After the JEE Main session 2 result announced, candidates need to first head on to official JEE Main website to know the performance in terms of rank and marks on the portal. You further need to download the scorecard to assess your performance. The needed details to log in are application number and birth date. Apart checking scorecard and rank, they need to check out their qualifying status. Based on your results, you then have to make up your mind to prepare for JEE Advanced or not to get into the IITs. AKTU releases cutoff through its affiliated colleges. At 15000 score, it is possible to get admission to a few colleges including R. D. Engineering College Technical Campus, for which the last round closing score was 16842 for the General AI category candidates. Other best college at this score could be Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, with last round closing score of 16384. Technical Education and Research Institute (TERI, Ghazipur) could also be considered which had the last round closing score of 15844.

CUET PG is the accepting exam for AKTU MBA admission. The CUET-PG examination is scheduled to be conducted in March 2026 (tentative). The examination specific details will be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective examinations, which will be published at the time of launch of the CUET PG Registration Forms.
AKTU releases its cutoff through its affiliated colleges. The last round closing scores for different colleges varied between 435 and 17104 if you belong to the General AI category. Therefore, it is possible to get admission at any affiliated college of the university at 20000 rank. The top colleges could be Fort Institute of Technology, R. D. Engineering College Technical Campus and Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, with the last round closing score of 17104, 16842 and 16384, respectively.
