Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. Q: Who is eligible for admission at AMU?

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The placements, infrastructure and faculty are good.

Placements: My batch placements were conducted at Aligarh, while my senior batch placements were conducted in Dehli. Our batch salary has started at Rs. 12,000. Most of the companies have visited the college, such as multinational companies and other mechanical companies. About 79% of the students do internship from this college.

Infrastructure: In Aligarh Muslim University, there are many facilities for students such as computer labs, library, swimming pools, gym, canteen, and more. If we talk about the quality of the lab, canteen and hostel rooms, the quality of all the places is very good, and canteen food is very delicious.

Faculty: In this university, there are many courses available here. Like all diplomas, bachelor, master courses, and more courses. Here teachers are most talented and experienced. The ratio of the student and faculty is around 400:1. I get the industry exposure in this college. The course curriculum is very useful.

Placements: AMU has a separate wing for placements known as (TPO) training and placement cell. Some of the companies that had visited in the past are Accenture, L&T, Sterlite Industries, Alstom Projects, Voltas and Tejas Ltd. Generally, finance companies were the prime recruiters, and the placement package ranged up to 40,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are quite good. There is a sound environment for the students to learn. Talking about classrooms and smart rooms, they are well-maintained. The university is going to inaugurate its new FMS building in 2017. India Today has ranked it at 5 in its latest survey.

Faculty: The course curriculum is divided into 2 years and fragmented into 4 semesters. The curriculum is on the latest standards according to the CBCS system . It is thoroughly revised accordingly. The faculty team is well-educated and each of them holds a doctorate in their respective fields.

My college was very good at infrastructure.

Placements: Our college is very good at recruitment because a lot of good companies come for hiring the students. The highest CTC offered was Rs 8 Lacs per annum and the average package was Rs 3 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: My college consists of good infrastructure and a high range of quality equipment for computer systems and libraries. There were high speed of internet and faster-connecting methods.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and helpful. They help the students and celar their queries.
