AMU cutoff 2023 has been released in the form of firm lists on the official website at results.amucontrollerexams.com. Candidates seeking AMU admission can check their results on the mentioned website. AMU has released firm lists for a total of six courses for admission through CUET scores, these courses are BA (Hons) Boys, BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, BA (Hons) Girls, BSc (Hons) Boys, BSc (Hons) Community Science and BSc (Hons) Girls. The University has released upto two firm lists for all courses except BA (Hons) Foreign Languages, for which third round of firm list has been released.
It is mandatory for candidates to upload the following color scanned copies (both sides of his/her documents as given below.
- Class 10 /High School Certificate in support of date of birth.
- Mark sheet of all examinations passed up to the Qualifying Examination for the concerned course of study.
- Mark sheet (s) (all semesters/parts/transcript) of Qualifying Examination for the concerned course of study.
- Special Category Certificates, if applicable
Further, candidates may also upload the following colour scanned copies (both sides) of his/ her documents as given below:
- Migration Certificate
- Mark sheets of other examinations passed, if any.
- No-objection Certificate/ Leave Sanction Order, if applicable.
- Any other relevant Document (e.g. GATE Certificate for admission toM.TechProgramme)
AMU admission 2023 to various courses is based on CUET as well various entrance exams. AMU releases the list of students who are qualified for the final admission on the official website in form of merit lists or firm lists. It for the Medical courses, that AMU takes scores of NEET UG, NEET PG and NEET MDS as per the round-wise counselling conducted by the MCC. There are multiple factors affecting the Aligarh Muslim University 2025 cutoff. Some of them are given below:

- The number of candidates who qualified for the entrance exam
AMU releases course-wise Firm Lists on based on CUET as well. AMU Counselling 2023 is to be conducted up to maximum of ten rounds for some courses like BTech whereas for other courses it is majorly conducted till seven or eight rounds, depending on the availability of the seats. AMU releases the Select List or the Interview Lists for the candidates who have been provisionally selected for AMU Counselling 2023, followed by the release of Firm Lists which contain the name of students finally selected for admissions after the counselling. The round-wise seat allotment results can be checked by the registered candidates on the official website of AMU as and when these are released.
The AMU Select Lists released by the university for different courses inlcudes the following details:

Candidates are required to register themselves round-wise for AMU Counselling for admission to specified cource. To participate in the counselling process for AMU admissions 2023, the qualified candidates must visit the official website to register themselves. Candidates can participate in AMU counselling and seat allotment process by following the below- mentioned steps:

Step 3: Under that, click on Online Counselling/ Admission Portal 2023-24, and the login page will open up - counselling.amuonline.ac.in
Step 4: On the next page, login using the email ID and password or SIGN UP, in case not registered for counselling yet.
Step 5: Once logged in, upload the required documents, lock choices and submit.
The AMU exam authority will verify all the documents uploaded by the candidates, and in case there is any discrepancy in the documents, they will ask to re-upload the documents in correct manner. Once the documents are verified, AMU cutoff in the form of merit list/ firm list will be published on the website.
For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.
For MBA admission at Aligarh Muslim University, candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, students are also required to appear in an entrance exam, conducted by AMU and score well in order to secure a seat for the MBA course.
Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU admission to the BSc course is based on candidates' performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The total seat intake for the AMU BSc course is approximately 1260. AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round.
At the PG level, Aligarh Muslim University provides a 2 years M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry course to the students. To get admission to this course, aspiring students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements - 55.0% in graduation. This course offers admission to 25 students.
AMU offers MSc as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To be eligible to pursue MSc at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 55% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MSc at some other college or university. They can also check out the colleges offering online MSc courses.
AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) offers BTech and BE courses in various specialisations. The university admits students to its BTech programme based on their performance in AMUEEE. Before applying for AMUEEE, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the course. To be eligible to pursue BTech at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 50% in Class 12 with relevant subjects. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 50% is not eligible to get admission at AMU for BTech. Such candidates can still pursue BTech at other colleges/universities offering offline (regular) and online BTech courses.
