AMU Entrance Exam BCom (Hons) Counselling 2026 Seat Allotment: Check Dates, Fees & Procedure

Check can participate in the AMU counselling and seat allotment process in the following manner

• Click on the Counselling Portal
• Login with the required credentials
• Upload Documents
• Lock your choices
• Submit Documents

The exam authority will check all uploaded documents.

The university will conduct the counselling process of all courses as given below.

Counselling registration and choice-locking - Since the counselling process is completely online, candidates have to register online for the seat allotment process on the official website.

• They need to sign up with their application number, date of birth, and password.
• Next, they have to upload documents online, and it will be verified by the officials in online mode only.
• Thereafter, candidates have to re-upload the documents if rejected by the exam authority. Once they have re-uploaded the documents, it will be re-checked in online mode only.
• Now, candidates will be able to lock their choices from the list of available colleges for the seat allotment process. 

Publishing of merit/ rank list  - The university will publish a merit list/ firm list for each course on the website. And the candidates who have been allotted seats can pay the admission fees to secure their allotment. 

Reporting - Candidates will be issued a provisional admission letter and a schedule to report at the allotted AMU colleges by the stipulated date. They have to report to the allotted AMU college/ school and get the formalities done. They will be shared induction and timetable for their semester I classes there itself.  

To check the AMU Entrance Exam Counselling result, candidates have to follow the given steps.

• Go to the amucontrollerexams.com.
• Select your course.
• Download the merit list PDF of your respective course.
• Look for your roll number, rank, and counseling dates.

Candidates appearing for document verification at AMU need to carry the following documents in original, as well as four self-attested copies

• Application Form
• Admit card
• Class 12th & 10th mark sheets  
• Recent passport-size photograph (six) as uploaded in the application form. The photograph should be a colour print with a white background (dimensions - (2.5 x 3.0 cms)
• Documents about the reserved category as authorised by a competent authority/Naib Tehsildar / Deputy Collector, or Higher Divisional Officer
• For PWD category - Attested copy of Certificate from a Medical Practitioner not below the rank of Civil Surgeon verifying the extent (percentage) of disability.
• Income certificate for the EWS category
• Certificates for children of AMU employees - Employment Certificate from the Head of the Office where the candidate’s parent is working or has worked (retired/ died in harness) in AMU, Aligarh, and it should be countersigned by the Service Book & Pension Section.
• Documents if children of AMU Alumni - Certificate / Diploma / Degree/ Marksheet (final year) of a regular course of study of duration not less than one year obtained by the parent from AMU. Also, an undertaking from the candidate’s parent is required as proof of the relationship of the candidate with a Certificate / Diploma / Degree / Marksheet (final year) holder.
• Documents for Children of Central Govt. employee who has been recently posted/transferred to Aligarh - Attested copy of Transfer order of competent authority/certificate from the Head of the Department where the parent is serving in Aligarh, indicating the date of posting and joining at Aligarh.
• Attested copy of Certificate of Domicile from the District Authority of the State /UT that candidates hail from.
• For NCC candidates - Certificates from schools/universities as per the level

Children of Armed Forces who died in combat - Certificate as issued by a higher authority of the Armed Forces, and an undertaking by the candidate
