I am satisfied because of the teachers, good placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered to me is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, DE Shaw and other companies. Top roles offered in our course are software engineer, developer and others. Overall, placement opportunities are good.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good and decent, and we are provided with Wi-Fi, labs and good classrooms. They provided a library too. The quality of facilities is decent, and medical facilities are also provided. We have a decent sports complex and different games facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are always helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is a bit old, and it does not make students course-ready and for the industry. Still, it makes you understand the basics of the industry. Teaching faculty members are good.

Other: I did this course because I thought this is the closest way to any information technology company. Our college conducts events and extracurricular activities.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but the course is outdated, and the crowd is not up to the mark.

Placements: No one got placed right now. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The top roles offered in the course are software developer and tester. The top-recruiting company was TCS. The placement department is doing its work well, but we are not industry-ready after this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostel food and canteens might be faulty sometimes. The college security is good. Good extracurricular activities are conducted. The campus has medical facilities and water recycling facilities. Power is not an issue. The quality of facilities in the hostel was overall good, and they took good responsibility for the students at the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty members are pretty good. The course curriculum is a bit old. The teachers are always helpful, but the course curriculum does not make us industry-ready at all. We are facing a lot of problems during the placements. The final year project is a big issue. The main thing is that the course structure and its relevancy in the market. We should learn the latest technologies, but we don't have it right now.

Other: I chose this course because I thought this is the shortest way to get placed in any IT company.

Review of Amity University, Gurugram.

Placements: Placements in our university are good, and a lot of good organisations came this time like De Shaw. Around 70-80% of the students got placed from our course and related courses. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 5-10 LPA, which is pretty good. At Amity University, it is compulsory to have a summer internship project score, and it is good. Almost every student got a good internship, and the on-campus internship is also a good option to learn from professionals.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Amity University is top-notch. Classrooms are big with air-conditioners, and the whole campus has Wi-Fi. For me, the library is the best part of our college. It is big with a good sitting environment. I heard from my friends that the hostel is good, comfortable and clean. For sports, we have a big playground, and basketball and tennis court are the best part.

Faculty: Teachers in our course are very supportive and knowledgeable, and they know about the course. Teaching quality is good, and they are always up for doubts and focus on clearing our doubts. The course curriculum is updated and relevant, and it is fun to learn. The course doesn't make students industry-ready completely, but it helps a lot because it covers fundamentals. I don't think any college curriculum makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to make a career in the programming world, and it covers most of it. Events in Amity are always ongoing, and it is always fun to participate.

I absolutely like Amity University.

Placements: Amity University has always been in the top position regarding placements. Since I am a student of Amity, I know about placements very well from our seniors as they got good placements. Almost every student is able to secure a placement unless they score less than 70% of marks. However, they still have the possibilities to get placed. I believe that this will be the last batch to pass out. One of our seniors was able to get a salary package of around 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 5 LPA-6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Amity has never lacked behind in terms of infrastructure and hostels. It always tried to make it best for students. There is access to Wi-Fi for all students in our labs with high speed and also in libraries and classrooms. Every department does its best to make it better for students. Students have a variety of choices for the food as there are many places on the campus to get food. Moreover, the hostel mess is also available with delicious food. Sports are also favoured in Amity University to appreciate new budding talent.

Faculty: We have the best teachers at Amity. Every faculty member is helpful, polite, kind and understanding. The interaction and cooperative nature of teachers make it very much interesting to study in classes even when we don't feel like studying. The course curriculum is always updated with all the latest development, whatever available in the department.

Other: I always have an interest in programming and learning computer languages, so I chose a bachelor's in information technology, and I recommend it to you as well. We all know that in the near future, the scope for information technologies is going to increase, so it seemed the best option for me. Extracurricular activities are conducted a lot. If students who love to manage groups or become a leader for clubs and organise fests and be part of events, then Amity University has lots of those opportunities for you to participate. Amity fest is always popular because people love visiting here and enjoying the activities and entertainment they offer.

It is a pretty good university with amazing faculty members and facilities.

Placements: Placements depend on students, but the opportunities are provided for placements here. Amity provides one of the best opportunities which students can expect. On-campus internships are the most helpful, and I learned a lot during that.

Infrastructure: Our campus is the best thing about this university, and the facilities available to us were pristine. Sports grounds were always managed by the staff members, and the canteens had the quality and variety of food items, which cannot be seen anywhere else. Classrooms and labs were well organised and had a centralised air-conditioning system. All the damages are done by the students, and they were repaired as soon as possible. I never used medical facilities, but I have heard that they were really good.

Faculty: Teachers here were really forthcoming and supportive. Some of them used the most interesting ways of teaching, which were both effective and fun. The course curriculum was also well balanced and prolific, and it was exactly the same as what we needed to learn at that time. But the only thing it lacked was it wasn't as updated as it should be in terms of current technologies.
