Amity University Kolkata as my vision.

Placements: In our college, the average percentage of students getting placed is 75%, not 100%. The highest package may be around 6-7 L per annum. Many companies like Biocon, OG Healthcare, and so many industries visit. 100% of students got internships, such as quality analysts, junior researchers, etc.

Infrastructure: Amity University provides well-maintained infrastructure. Their laboratories are too good, and they provide good hands-on training so we learn well. We get Wi-Fi from our university. Our library is very big, and it is very strict. Only those who have an ID card can enter the library.

Faculty: In our department, M.Sc. Biotechnology, we give two exams—mid-semester and end-semester—and we also give PowerPoint presentations (PPT), home assignments, and so on. In Amity, we maintain 75% attendance, as Amity is strict about it. If we don't, we can't sit for the exams. We have to study properly to pass the exam.

Other: I did my B.Sc. in Biotechnology, then I did my M.Sc. in Biotechnology. I have a lot of interest in that subject, which is why I chose it. I love the subject. Our college is good and well-maintained. At the end of February, we celebrate our fest, Amiphoria, and we also celebrate Mahalaya, Christmas, Freshers, Farewell, etc.

Placements: Our college provides the best placement opportunities. Every year, our college organises placements, but one condition is there. You have to score more than 60% to get placements. The salary package offered to every student is around 4 LPa to 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: In this college, the infrastructure quality is very good. They use the best quality products. We have fast Wi-Fi, classrooms, labs, a library, a garden, a gymkhana, drinking water machines, etc. The hostel facility is good. We have departmental facilities.

Faculty: The department faculty members are very good. The college staff is very good. They have a very good behaviour. They are very knowledgeable and helpful to students. This course is for 2 years. We have 4 to 6 semester exams. Exams are very difficult.

I am satisfied with the job and faculty.

Placements: Highly recommended college for placements. They have well define and developed placement cell. Around 50-60percent students got placement every year. The highest package goes 40 Lacs, average goes 6 Lacs and the lowest of 3 Lacs. I placed in dlf company in 2020 with 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: There is attractive and maintained infrastructure. There are all the important facilities like classrooms, playgrounds, courts, a library, medical rooms, Wi-Fi, labs with all the equipment, and so on. Buildings are separate and divided according to the course. They have a canteen with a variety of food.

Faculty: Managed and qualified faculty is there. They have proper management of lectures there. There is a restriction on the attendance of students. We have to attend 75% of classes otherwise, penalty charges are there. Teachers are helpful and qualified here. Semester exams are difficult to pass. They are held twice a year.

Amity, the dream of a student.

Placements: Almost all the students are placed in good industries and labs which work in the field of biotechnology. The highest package was 25 Lacs, and the lowest package was 9 Lacs. Almost all the students got placement from our batch. The top roles offered are junior scientist and lab assistant.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are top-notch. It is one of the best colleges in our region. The facilities are quite good. All the places have high-speed Wi-Fi. The quality of facilities is good. The hostel food is awesome but can't match the level of home food.

Faculty: The teachers are so helpful. They are so elegant and impressive and very polite. They treat us like children and give us the correct path to achieve our goals. The course curriculum is so good and practical that you can easily learn it with simplicity.

Other: Events and festivals are celebrated with so much energy.
