Great college life, average placement. Enjoyed 2 years of fests - Amity hosts the best in Kolkata.

Placements: 60-70% of students were placed in our MCA course. The highest package was 12 LPA offered by IBM, the average package was 5-6 LPA offered by some startup companies, and the lowest package ranged from 2.8 to 3.5 LPA. As far as I know, IBM was the top recruiting company. The college provides both paid and unpaid internships. For unpaid internships, you must pay the registration fees, and the same applies to paid internships. You may also receive performance-based offers or PPOs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is easily accessible throughout the Amity campus. The labs and classrooms are very good, and I can say the library is the best I have seen compared to other colleges. The facilities in our hostel are of high quality. The food in the canteen is much better than that in other college canteens, and the prices are affordable for everyone.

Faculty: In our MCA course, all the teachers are helpful. Every teacher holds a Ph.D. degree. The teaching quality is excellent, and the course curriculum is relevant. The teachers give their 100%, and if students do the same, they can become industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; if you attend all classes and prepare well, you can pass easily.

Other: The best part of the university is the events it organizes. I have experienced the best fest in all of Kolkata.

Amity university- Kolkata, a leading private college of Bengal with a number 1 ranking.

Placements: Amity itself is a brand. To maintain its name and fame, this college provides placement to the students for sure. The students should also have potential to get selected. Approximately, 150 companies come to this college for hiring students with a huge salary package. The highest package offered was Rs. 54 lacs per annum and the lowest was Rs. 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Amity-Kolkata has the beautiful infrastructure among all the Amity group. It has fully centralised air-conditioning. It has the tallest building with a beautiful design. It also looks like a 5-star hotel. This college library provides all facilities for the students. There is an internet connection here, but the books here are arranged in such a way, to be found easily. They also provide newspapers, journals, etc. The most important thing is that the student can issue book for 2-weeks without any fine. The canteen of the college is also very hygienic, and food provided by the canteen has a good taste and also has a reasonable price. The canteen here is always very clean. Also, the students here do a lot of fun.

Faculty: The faculty here are very familiar to students, and they support students at every step. Their teaching is very simple and understandable. Also, if there is any problem regarding any subject to students, then the faculty give extra time to them. The course of MCA is updated, and the subjects are interesting. It has a different type of project and research.

Other: The fee of the course is very low compared to others. It also provides a scholarship to students. If a student has more than 90% in a semester, then he or she will not have to pay the fee for the next semester.
