Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. AMU Highlights 2025

AMU was established in Aligarh, UP around 1920. AMU is UGC approved and is A+ NAAC accredited. The university is also a member of AUI. AMU has been ranked tenth by NIRF ranking 2025 under the 'Universities' category.

AMU offers about 300 courses at UG, PG, PhD and diploma levels. AMU courses are offered in the streams of Science, Humanities, Medicine, Engineering, Management etc. Distance education is provided through CDOE. AMU course admissions are both entrance and merit based. The university accepts national and state level entrance exams such as AMU Entrance Exam, NATA, CUET, etc.

This university has 37,327 students, 1,686 teachers, and 5,610 non-teaching staff available. The university is sprawls over 1,155 acres of land, with most students and staff residing within campus. The mode of Aligarh Muslim University course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are the AMU Entrance Exam, CUET, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the Aligarh Muslim University official website, which is www.amu.ac.in/. I must have risen by saying my college is like a normal, average college and eco-friendly.

Placements: 60 to 70% of students get placed in my college. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is about 9 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and some other famous companies come to our college. The top recruit company is TCS. About 50% students get internships. AI data structure design is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are average, they are like normal classes. Ice cream on the front of the table, which is in normal structure without AC. Wi-Fi, lab, classrooms, and library all exist in our college, so there is no problem regarding that, but it is not the type of college. The hostel is good, but it is not awarded for everyone because the rooms are limited. The food quality of the mess is great, we get good food that you like very much. There are medical personnel participating.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified, but whatever they taught in our class, I never got it. They are a little bit helpful, but not caring, because they are professors. There is strict attendance in our college. Most teachers are good at their subjects, but some classes are harder to follow. Our semester exams are tough, and they are held at the college examination center. Usually, about 82 to 85 percent of students pass.

Other: I chose this course because there is a future in this course, and the best thing about this course is that it is emerging in the market, and I don't think it will end very soon. There is nothing to improve. There are many alumni in different places to go, which is very helpful for us to apply anywhere.

The college is good, it has a great process, but the placements are average.

Placements: 60% of students get placements. The highest package is 18.5 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 8.9 LPA. The recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. 50% of students get paid internships. From what I heard from my seniors, but what I got to know more is that there are off-campus placements too, and many students take placements there also.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, the labs are good, and there are many libraries. The classrooms are clean, not that great, but average. It doesn't feel like you are at any great place, like a proper college. There is a main road inside the college, so anyone can come and go. There is no security also.

Faculty: The teachers are very good, but I don't understand what they teach me. I don't know about this because I am new to this field. The semester exams are very difficult. 80-85% of students pass the exam. One more thing is that labs have great hype because Viva is conducted in every class, and it carries 10 marks.

Other: I myself don't know why I chose this course, but yes, it is good. I have a different and good opportunity that I can grow. There are no events or fests at all.

AMU Center Murshidabd review.

Placements: There are no placements at AMU Murshidabad. There are internships in the Supreme Court provided by the college in 5th year which depends on your marks. Many students got placed without placements by the university, which is a good thing.

Infrastructure: If I talk about facilities, there is no facility at AMU Murshidabad Center. There is a dormitory in the hostel which contains 14 to 15 beds. The hostel food is not good. There is free Wi-Fi and an AC library. They still lack in providing basic facilities such as aid and hostel.

Faculty: Faculty of Law AMU Center Murshidabad is not well. Some teachers are good but some are not. Some teachers are good at teaching and some are not. They teach case laws which is very helpful in the real world. There are a total of 36 exams each semester.

Other: I chose this college because the university comes under the top 10. I did not choose the Murshidabad Center, I did not have any choice and that is why I chose it.

Placements: There is no placement in automobile engineering. Almost all got placement from outside or off campus. One student got placed in a past 6 LPA package at Honda Private Limited. No internship, all students search for an internship by themself. Design engineer is the highest post.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided by university, but there is no systematic process, like outsiders can come into the college, and no security is provided. Amenities in the classroom are provided by college, such as Wi-Fi, library, and labs. Food is decent, you can survive. Health centre for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated, but the students do not respect the faculty. Students most of the time bunk the class. Course syllabus is relevant. It is more than enough for industrial knowledge. Semester is too much easy because faculty members are supportive. 80% is pass percentage .

Placements: 60-70% of students get placed in our course. The highest package ranges from 10-12 LPA. The lowest package is 3.2 LPA. The average package ranges from 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like SEBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and other banks visit the college to hire students from our course. 30-40% of students got internships in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Pinkvilla, Meesho, HDFC Bank, etc. Roles like managing director; chartered accountant, etc., are offered to students.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are quite habitual and very helpful for students. The university is quite considerate of classrooms. Although, facilities provided for the hostels are not quite good and the food provided in mess is tasteless.

Faculty: I don't know if the teachers are appointed on what basis because they are definitely not fit for the respective role. Students learn many things in college. Exams go well if we study properly and the pass percentage for the exams is 33%.

Other: I chose this course to flourish my skills to become a future entrepreneur. I really get to learn about a lot of things. Teachers should basically know how to interact with students rather than insult them and make them lose their confidence. Fests and events conducted here are quite good. The campus surroundings here literally make our lives much easier.
