Yes, the Annamalai University 2024-25 brochure states the age limit set for admission to its various UG courses, including BSc. As per the guidelines, candidates, who are more than 17 years old. Apart from this, the upper age limit set for admissions is 21 years old. Only those candidates who fulfill this and course-specific requirements will be considered for admission. However, for SC/ST/SA  candidates, there is no age limit.

The total tuition fee for BSc ranges from INR 27,500 to INR 55,000, as per an official document. The fee varies as per the specialisation. The hostel fees range from INR 45,000 to INR 2.25 lakh.

Annamalai University boasts 6,000+ seats reserved for the BSc programme. Out of which 5000+ seats are reserved for admission in distance education mode. Annamalai University Distance Education offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Candidates can get a seat directly through Spot Admission. Aspirants have to submit the filled-in application form along with the documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC in-person to get direct admission. All Spot Admissions are subject to confirmation or cancellation (if found ineligible) by the Director, CD&OE.

Annamalai University admissions are based on merit and entrance which may differ as per the course opted for. Candidates opting for UG level degree must have a minimum aggregate of 40% to 50% in Class 12. Similarly, for PG level programme must  secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Additionally, candidates require to pursue either of the class from Class 8 to Class 12 along with a 'Nativity Certificate' to be eligible for admission at Annamalai University. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in suggested entrance exams such as NEET UG/ PG, IMUCET, TANCET, CEETA etc.
