Bangalore University Admission 2025: Fee, Eligibility & Selection Process

The total course fee is a mixure of multiple fee components, including

To secure admission in Bangalore University MSc in Psychological Counselling, candidates first need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the course as and apply for the programme through the official website. The MSc in Psychological Counselling course is offered by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Science, BU. Bangalore University accepts CAT/KMAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT and Karnataka PGCET scores for admission to its MBA course. The university offers MBA courses via its affiliated colleges. As per the Bangalore University MBA cutoff 2024, the Karnataka PGCET last-round closing rank was 4072 for the General AI category students at Acharya Institute of Management and Science.  Candidates have to submit the application fee within the due date to submit their application successfully. The application fee for MSc is INR 200 for the General category and INR 100 for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories. Further, the fee payment can be done via the below-mentioned means:

1. Net banking/online NEFT transfer/credit card/debit card.
2. To pay offline, that can be done with a challan at any of the SBI branches across the country.

2. Now, click on ‘Admission’ followed by clicking on the desired course level.
3. A link to the online application will be available at the end of the page in case the applications are open.
4. Register as a new user by adding the required information such as name & contact details.
5. Log in with the credentials & fill out the application form.
6. Complete the process & pay the application fee to submit the application form.

For admission to BSc courses, candidate should have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. For BSc in Design stream, candidates who have studied two years Job Oriented Courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any state government or any other examination are also eligible. Aspirants also have to present the official documents with them for verification purposes.

Admission to the BSc courses and the integrated BSc course is merit-based. Candidates are admitted based on performance in the last qualifying examination. The selected students may have to participate in the counselling round as well for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates have to submit some amount of the fee to confirm their seat.

Bangalore University offers multiple scholarships to meritorious and deserving students based on state government and UGC norms. The top three Bangalore University scholarships are listed below:

• Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships are made available to Karnataka students belonging to the SC/ ST community. These candidates should also have an annual parental income less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
• Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Merit Scholarship is offered to students, who have secured 1 to 5 ranks in previous qualifying degree exams and belong below the poverty line. The scholarship amount is INR 500 per month for 10 months in each year of the course.
