Honest review of my college.

Placements: Every year after the first semester, some companies come to conduct interviews and select some students. After completing 3 semesters, students are eligible for placements, students maintain a good percentage according to the company criteria. The starting package offered is 3 LPA and goes up to 16 LPA. More than 40 companies come to give appointments for the campus interview.

Infrastructure: Hostels are good. If we want to enjoy college life without any restrictions, then the hostel is the best.

Faculty: Our college has 23 departments and almost 4,000 students. Our college has 12 research departments, especially a molecular Biology department. Our college has good faculty members. They are highly professional. Our staff members have experience as they have worked in a lot of parts of India. Some staff members completed their degrees in the same college. Staff members are good and take lectures easily. They are friendly. They support cultural events. The college provides elective courses that allow specialisation in a particular area of interest. The laboratory experience, the syllabus includes laboratory experiments, which provide the practical knowledge about the subject. The practical helps students with their research in their respective fields. The syllabus includes field work and a field trip to encourage students to apply subject knowledge in nature. The college provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and research courses to the students.

Life at Bharathiyar University.

Placements: There is no placement in this college. Even for previous batches, there were no placements. If they put some effort into placements, it will be better. Also, they can provide some placement training at least for technical courses. We have to make our efforts for our Job.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs were really good. The quality of the Hostels were average. Wi-Fi facilities were not so good. Water facilities were above average. Restrooms could be maintained properly. Canteen can be improved. Mess food was hygienic but the taste was not so good.

Faculty: Some faculty members were talented and knowledgeable. But some of them were not so good. They were just passing time and entertaining the classrooms. Our department staffs were so good. Especially Dr. Ramesh was an excellent staff. His knowledge was just amazing.

Other: Government Scholarships are not yet available but can be provided in the future. Even at private colleges they are processing the scholarship.
