It is the best college to gain practical knowledge and learn skills.
Placements: BITS Pilani is a college that ensures guaranteed placements. More than 95% of students got placements in the previous year. The average salary package offered at our college was around 25 LPA. Students were placed in various top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BITS Pilani is amazing. It is better than many IITs and NITs. Double-occupancy rooms are available for freshers with all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi and washing machines. Sports and medical facilities are also available on campus. The food in the mess is tasty and healthy, with a large number of varieties.
Faculty: Our college has great teachers. They have great knowledge and excellent teaching skills. They are very helpful. There are tutorials every week, monthly quizzes, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams. Almost everyone manages to get passing marks by studying for a few days before exams.

Really good Tier-1 College.
Placements: About 90- 95 % of students get placed in Chemical Engineering with the majority opting for a career in Finance and IT Sector by opting for a minor degree in Finance, Data Science, etc., and only a few get into the core sector of Chemical by doing Masters abroad. Average Package varies from 12-15 Lacs per annum in roles like Data Analyst, Product Manager, etc. Core companies that visit the campus include- Shell, Unilever, Reliance, Hindalco, Zuari Fertilizers, Derrick Petroleum, ATE India, and many others. Due to the Practice School System in BITS, almost everyone is provided with 2 internships in the 5th and 7th Semesters. The internship companies were decided by CGP up till that semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in Hostels are of really good quality. Each room in my hostel is equipped with cooling vents which provide a good relief in summers. Along with that table, almirah and B.Ed is also provided in the room. There are shared rooms in the first and second years and single rooms in the next subsequent years. The college, being a private institution, provides good quality food in the mess as compared to other government institutions with a variety of food items on the menu.
Faculty: Professors are very much qualified and are helpful and approachable. The Teaching Quality of professors varies from branch to branch but most of them are good ATIT. Courses for first-year students are the same and core courses are taught in the second and third years. It makes the students very much ready for the industry. Semester exams here are of two types- Mid Semester and Comprehensive (End Semester). The level of question paper in on difficult size and grading is done on a relative basis taking into account the overall performance of students.
Other: The college provides an opportunity to excel in a variety of fields with a really good alumni network and makes you ready for the outside-world challenges.

Expensive choice but stellar education.
Placements: The highest packages offered in Chemical core were about 35-40 LPA. Non core jobs are much more paying, especially the IT and Finance sector with the upper limit no bar. There are two practice schools, PS1 and PS2 for industry exposure. One at the end of 2nd year and the other at the end of 4th year, before placements.
Infrastructure: Excellent library and classroom facilities. Hostels (especially the girls') can be improved. We have campus wide Wi-Fi with a liberal data limit per day. Mess food is average usually, good on holidays. Ample sports facilities. There are many eateries inside campus open till late night. MedC for all medical ailments is also situated inside campus.
Faculty: Knowledgeable, approachable professors. Always ready to guide you for the future. The course is extremely structured and organized. There are mid-semester exams and final compare exams with the latter having most weightage. The pass percentage is about 20%, otherwise you get a NC grade (not cleared). .
Other: Excellent campus crowd, ample extra curricular activities and good off campus opportunities. The fests are among the biggest in India. There are three per year, a cultural fest, a technical fest and a sports fest.

Review of BITS Pilani - Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: In our course, 69% of students got placed. The lowest average package is not good enough, it is only 39,000 per month, and the highest package is only 70,000-85,000 per month. There are plenty of placements in our course. 46% of students got internships in companies.
Infrastructure: In our college, the quality of facilities provided is good. Wi-Fi network is good. The campus has huge and airy classrooms, 2 huge libraries, and chemistry and biology labs. They provide us with healthy and tasty food. Canteens are not big but awesome. Medical facilities are good. The quality of sports and games is good.
Faculty: There are very multi-talented teachers. They help us a lot. The teaching quality of teachers is good. They give us practical knowledge and make us ready for future. Semester exams are not much easy. The passing percentage in our course is 69%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in this course. The best thing about our course is they make us ready for future. They arrange an annual event for us. They provide scholarships for qualified students. I wish they improve our college because it needs some improvement.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: As per the data provided by the administration during the induction of our batch, the placement statics were very good. The average salary package offered was 14.06 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 37 LPA for the 2019-2020 batch. Major recruiters here are JSW Steel and public sector units like GAIL and HPCL.
Infrastructure: There are 13 boys hostels, 1 girls hostel, 1 library, NAB and various places to eat outside. The infrastructure is very nicely developed, and still, the campus is lush green. The food served is great in the mess. The library is one of the hugest, with more than 1 lac books.
Faculty: All the teachers here are PhD holders, and the maximum of them are from respectable universities. The course curriculum is very different from other Indian colleges and inspired by MIT, USA. 0% attendance policy allows you to write exams without even attending a single class. Courses are well structured and practical.

The placement scenario in chemical is pretty good compared to other elite colleges.
Placements: Around 91% of students who applied for placements got placed in the chemical batch (placement stats 2020). The average package offered is around 10.7 LPA, and the median is around 11.3 LPA as far as we have heard on the campus. There are 2 paid internships offered in the best of companies in the second and fourth years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is one of the best in India. The library is humongous and is one of the attractions of the college and is very student-friendly. The crowd in the library is also very cooperative. Wi-Fi facilities on the campus are also pretty good. It hardly lags some days, or most of the time, the speed is too good (around 200-300 mbps on average). The computer labs in NAB are too good, and even all departments are well maintained.
The classrooms are spacious and pretty good, especially those in NAB. Hostel facilities here are undoubtedly one of the best in the country. We do get Wi-Fi facilities, clean bathrooms, and nice rooms with sufficient space. For first-year students, the rooms are double occupancy, and for subsequent years, we get a single occupancy room. The food is very good for a hostel mess here (obviously not better than your home) but amazing compared to standard mess level. There are also many eating joints on the campus. There are redis in each hostel which sell fast food, that is awesome, and also there are rest type outlets like looters, food ministry, ToTT, to name a few. Sports facilities and grounds are good here. The campus is humongous and is spread around 400 acres.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and possess great knowledge of their subjects. Most of the teachers are graduates from elite colleges of the country. They conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions for students and remedial classes for students who missed the classes. The course curriculum followed is pretty much application based, and thus, it is relevant for the industry and focuses on application-based which helps to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty much hard, and the level of questions asked in the examinations is a bit high level. Since there is relative grading here, it depends on how you performed in exams.
Other: The campus is awesome. It has some ethnic and trademark places. The clock tower, Saraswati temple, and Birla museum are few to name among them. BITS Pilani has a heritage-rich history in itself. The Connaught market on the campus here gives the city market vibes. We probably miss the campus with every facility available for students. It looks like a mini-city in itself, and you won't ever feel the need to get out of the campus to get something you can't find on the campus.

It is the best college in India with a good ROI and high fees.
Placements: Almost all the students sitting for placements get quite lucrative placements. The highest salary package offered in the previous batch is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA, which is quite good for chemical engineering in India. There are few companies for the chemical course. There is a lot of scope and opportunities in non-tech roles like consulting jobs. People here also apply for tech placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are the best in India. Wi-Fi speed is good among the whole campus. The food served in a mess is average and needs a little improvement to stand out. Rest sports facilities are best with all modern sports facilities. The central library is also huge with all books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and well-qualified. Some teachers lack to deliver lectures effectively, which makes students sometimes least interested. The course curriculum is good, and it is on par with industry demands. The academics at the college is quite tough and is compared with IITs. Here 7 CGPA is considered the average pass percentage.
Other: The great brand value that BITS provides, along with its best alumni network, is unmatchable. Moreover, in the chemical course, you will get a lot of free time. Oasis is the annual fest of Bits Pilani, and a lot of great artists are coming up to perform here. The campus crowd is a pool of great talented people excelling in different skills.

Placements: The placements scenario at Pilani campus has always been top-notch. The average and median packages offered have been on a rise every year. Almost 100% of students succeed in securing a job while a small percentage of students go for higher studies. There are two placement seasons semester I August to November and Semester II January to April. The median salary package offered is 13.78 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 20.07 LPA in chemical engineering. Companies like Schlum, Shell, Schlumberger offer good packages with most of the students going for IT jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are top-notch. There are 11 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel with around 230 rooms each, most are single occupancy rooms. The hostel life is good. The hostel rooms are fully furnished, with internet connectivity and common provision for water purifiers and heaters. There is a kitchen-cum mess unit for every 2 boys' hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and also have a very good knowledge of their respective subjects. Almost all the professors have a Ph.D. degree and the teaching level is on par with the IITs. The course curriculum is very relevant. The students do need to work hard to get placed well. The seniors are also very helpful.
Other: At par with the IITs, there is no attendance policy and no reservation but with very high opportunities.

No, you would not be able to surpass the cutoff (which is minimum of 300 out of 450) if you only prepare for the 12th syllabus. The 11th syllabus is as important as the 12th and carries equal weightage (might vary a little bit). It is advised that you prepare both the 11th as well as 12th syllabus.
