Other: In cities, it’s cool to have a big car and be good looking. Here it’s cool to have startups, followers on Quora and money in bank accounts. We do this for fun. We have deep rooted culture in our co curricular activities. BITS is famous for personality development. We run 4-5 major festivals, including the very famous Oasis, our cultural festival. All these festivals are completely run by students! From getting sponsorship, to publicity, websites, controls during the festival etc. everything is done by student teams. We have dedicated departments which have well defined specific roles in each festival. So if you have a hobby, you can join one of these departments, be part of a huge organizing team and learn so much while you are still in college. The best part, you get to do this 4 times over, each year your responsibilities increase! Every year we have people achieving milestones in every field. This year, we had the only girl to get 100 percentile in CAT in the past 15 years. I got placed for Rs. 18 lakhs per annum in a non coding job. I am a five pointer. I think that says a lot about the quality of placements in BITS. Right now, what BITS lacks in infrastructure, it makes up in campus placements. But the campus is currently being renovated completely and in the coming few years we will state-of-art infrastructure. We already have a new academic block which can make private colleges who boast about their infrastructure feel bad.

BITS PILANI, its truly is magic.

Placements: My senior batch had a staggering 89% of students being placed on campus, even during tough times like these years with a lot of competition around. The highest package offered was 91 LPA for AEEE students, and the lowest was around 6 LPA for a civil student. On campus, the total average is around 20 LPA, and for CS, it is 32 LPA. Top recruiters being Google, Microsoft, Tower Research Capital, and McKinsey. Nearly 80 percent of people get summer internships based on their academic performances in companies like P&G, and T Motion.

Infrastructure: The campus is over 60 years old, and the campus infrastructure is satisfactory. The classrooms are top-notch, with an over-student capacity of 450. There are many labs with very new equipment. The computer lab has over 600 computers. The most iconic libraries in India have more than 250k books. The quality of the food is great. There is also a separate section for Jain food. The campus has an in-house hospital with doctors 24/7 for emergencies. BITS Pilani has a huge ground for cricket and football.

Faculty: The teachers here are all well-qualified, with almost most of them holding PhDs and publishing research papers. The teaching quality is top-notch. The teachers also have chamber consulting hours. BITS Pilani follows the MIT curriculum, so the course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. The placement answers if the students are industry-ready or not. The semester exams are quite hard, to be very honest. There are cases when the course average was as low as 10 marks out of a total of 90 marks.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm (Hons.) Candidates must have passed 12th examination from a recognized Central or State board. Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects in Class 12. Candidate must secure minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Hi, Yes, there is an integrated course of B.Sc + M.Sc in biological sciences. It is a four-year integrated degree program without any intermediate Bachelor of Science degree.
