    My review of this college.
Placements: Every year, many top job recruiters and companies visit our college for seminars, interviews, and job exams. Our college personally invites recruiters through our placement cell, and our professors make sure that we attend every interview and seminar to get a better idea about what we want to do in our future. If you want to place in a good and best, they have a placement cell where you have to register yourself to get updates about companies. Most of them are IT and management-based companies. The job profile is basically that of a salesperson. Many new companies have approached for placement.
Infrastructure: The girls' hostel is located just at the back side of our college. It is spacious and well-maintained. The rooms are airy and well-lighted. The food is of a very standard type. There is a huge demand for hostel facilities, and it is given on a priority basis. There is a free and fair policy regarding giving hostel facilities.
Faculty: The course is overall quite good. It has lots of practicals to increase practical knowledge. A plenty of things are taught on the projector, which gives us a digital experience. The course also consists of an industrial visit, which gives us a rough idea of how industries work. The teachers are very well-qualified and very cooperative. They are well-experienced and have a minimum M.Sc. qualification. Most of them are Ph.D. qualified. They have a very good knowledge and also make us think out of the box. They are always ready to help. Their teaching helps us to grow personally as well. We have a semester pattern, and the practical exams are held at the end of the year only. In the third year, we had university exams at the end of the year. The practicals are always good, and we felt good after leaving the labs. Exams obviously depend on one's preparations. The laboratory is always clean.

Great place for a master's in economics.
Placements: Quite many companies approach the placement cell. 40 to 50 students out of around 180 get placed on campus. There are some companies that have revoked promised offers. Roles mainly include data analyst and sales. One can secure a 6 LPA package if he/she is sincere throughout the course.
Infrastructure: There is an extensive library with all required books. One can even access central library of main campus, which is huge. Classes are air conditioned, and software is taught in labs. There is a homely feeling, with a homely canteen and a wonderful vibe.
Faculty: Teachers are best in business, with high accolades. They try their best to clear concepts and support you after class. Exams are of standard difficulty, but nothing comes out of the syllabus. It will be 2 years of gaining extensive knowledge about economics.

Overall, it is the best college for the M.Sc. in Botany course.
Placements: About 92% of students are admitted to our college. Many students got jobs in many companies. The highest salary package offered is 29 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 9 LPA. Big companies like Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, etc., visit the college for recruitment. Nearly 85% of students received internships. Higher-level roles offered are conservation biologist, horticulturist, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus's antique architecture gives us a sense of antiquity, reminiscent of Royal Kolkata. Classrooms include lofty windows and overhanging fans, similar to those seen in old movies. The college features two libraries stocked with literature on a variety of subjects. All of the science departments have offices, and the institution also provides Wi-Fi. The canteen cuisine is overpriced and delicious for everyone.
Faculty: It is a wonderful joy to announce that I have graduated with the top faculty members. They've always assisted us. Students should prepare for projects. Our teachers are always very helpful in our work. Semester tests are quite standard, and we are determined to test our faith. The pass rate is more than 55%.

Best university for M.Sc. and research with friendly-supportive faculty members.
Placements: I am a science student. So, less than 30% of students get placements every year in a mixture of all departments like biochemistry, biotech, botany, and zoology. But most students are going for higher studies, like a Ph.D. Last year, companies like Dr. Reddy and Biocon mainly focused on recruiting only biotech and botany students. One of my seniors is going for a lab technician and another research analyst role offered during placements. Last year, the highest 12.5 LPA, and the lowest 4.5 LPA packages were offered by companies.
Infrastructure: I am proud to say that my department is one of the most digitally equipped. All the lecture halls of my department are equipped with Wi-Fi, a projector, and AC. The library is top-class with more than 6 lakh books and recent time digital notes or research projects. Labs are well-equipped with modern types of equipment, focused on recent industries. I am not staying in a hostel, but my friend said that it is a good and friendly environment. But the food is good in our canteen.
Faculty: I rate it 5/5 for my department teachers based on their best quality of teaching. Also, they are very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and modern industry-focused, which helps us to better understand the recent industry. Semester exams are mostly difficult, but that helps us to attend regular classes and read carefully. But practical exams are easy and enjoyable. Most of the students pass like 95% of the students.
Other: I am a botany graduate. I can go for biotech or biochemistry, but my interest in botany has been in recent discoveries. Every government is focused on green energy. The best thing is that the course is focused on the industry. I think the course should focus more on recent industries. Our campus union is helpful and organised, too many things at every festival like sports in winter, Holi, etc. Campus connectivity is good with the nearest railway station, metro station, bus stop, and tram connectivity. Campus is crowded during college time with the best greenery surroundings.

    It is the best college.
Placements: They can enroll in the placement cell, which helps with placements. Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM M.Sc. entrance exams. Also, good for other departments like B.Com and economics, but you usually don't look for placement after graduation in the arts stream. You have to go for a master's, so if you're a commerce or a science student and you're looking for a college with good placement after graduation, St Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in the country, and Kolkata is the best.
Infrastructure: It is an amazing course. It's one of the best curricula that you can get in this college. The faculty members are well trained, and you get an amazing atmosphere in and all the college. The exam is on a semester basis. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are within walking distance of the campus. The selection of the students who are eligible for accommodation in the hostels is made entirely based on merit and need. Food will be divided into two different options, like veg and non-veg. Although Quality is good.
Faculty: St Xavier's College has an extremely diligent and highly accomplished faculty who are thoroughly devoted to the welfare of the students. Proof. Christian Mirza, specializing in Victorian women's poetry and Modern poetry, has also pursued research in literature and music. Faculty is very helpful. College has a semester system of examinations in which two end-semester examinations are held every year, along with two mid-semester examinations and continuous internal assessment. Marks are also allotted in each paper for regular attendance. So it is a good way to study.

The infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: The placement cell was not good, and no major or high packages were offered in the college. It was still under development. Students had to reach out to companies themselves for jobs. No recruiting companies came for jobs and placements. Students participated in internships with faculty on their projects.
Infrastructure: They provided all the basic facilities to the students, such as classrooms, restrooms, a basketball court, a ground, Wi-Fi availability, labs, a large library, medical facilities, hostel facilities, and more. The food quality available in the canteen was average and affordable for students, with a variety of options.
Faculty: Teachers had their unique way of teaching. Their knowledge and guidance helped students learn more. My course curriculum was not relevant. There was poor management of lectures and classes, with no proper timetable. The semester exam was easy to pass with 40%.
