Satisfied with the faculty, placements not good.
Placements: Professors are highly skilled and well-educated in their domains and provide a good opportunity for research and field knowledge. The placement cell is not that much established in this university, but the research field is above average, and chances of getting your paper published are also possible in most cases.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the hostel facilities are very average. The rooms are shared between four people of different departments. The washroom facilities are also decent; workers clean them at least once every day. Food in the mess is like your regular home-cooked food, but the canteens are not available here near the hostel. You have to walk a lot to get basic groceries also.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful also, but the exam curriculum is more like that we had in schools. Regular surprise tests, assignments, mid-term exams, and end-term exams. Even moral exams are a part of the curriculum here. Access to reading and books is good.
Other: Fests are less, but you'll find diversity in the crowd here.

Satisfied with academics.
Placements: For sociology, the placement system is not there, but they help us in cracking UGC NET/JRF and they are more focused on research, so they will help in that way. They inform us about internships and workshops so we can access those experiences. Also, the university conducts some national and international conferences.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and hostel are improving. This university is a new university, just started in 2009, so the infrastructure is still improving. A new library and classrooms are there, and the hostel facilities and mess are good enough. The cleanliness and all are really good.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good and experienced. They teach in a good way and they are really supportive. They help students in their work. They always try to improve their knowledge about the topics and syllabus so they can teach us better.
Other: The sociology department of this campus is really nice, and the faculty members are really supportive. The authorities also help us in getting scholarships.
