Candidates aspiring to pursue M.Tech from CUSAT shall have BE/BTech/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 60% aggregate. The selection is further done by the university committee basis on the applicant’s score in the qualifying examinations (GATE/CUSAT DAT).
Aspirants need to fill out the online form (admission.cusat.ac.in) and submit it for being eligible to take admission. However, the seat allotment for each M.Tech programme shall be on the applicant’s GATE score. Candidates without a GATE exam score can take CUSAT DAT/ Sections A and B exam by the Institution of Engineers (India).
Candidates need to qualify CUSAT CAT to get admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programmes. The university releases course-wise cutoff rank list. As per the below 2023 closing rank for All India Category, the highest was 29 for Biological Science. The lowest rank was of 62 of Physical and Mathematics.
