CUSAT offers M.Tech in full-time and part-time modes. The full-time course is of two-year duration with four semesters and the M.Tech part-time course is of three years with six semesters. The PG-course is available in 16 specialisations. Admission to the M.Tech courses at Cochin University is entrance-based.
The total tuition fee for CUSAT Integrated BSc-MSc programme ranges between 53,850 and INR 1.56 lakh. The fee is taken from an unofficial source. Hence, is indicative. Aspirants need to fill out the online form (admission.cusat.ac.in) and submit it for being eligible to take admission. However, the seat allotment for each M.Tech programme shall be on the applicant’s GATE score. Candidates without a GATE exam score can take CUSAT DAT/ Sections A and B exam by the Institution of Engineers (India).
After graduation, candidates can apply for CUSAT MBA. Below is detailed eligibility criteria:
- Aspirants who have passed a bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer) can apply for MBA programme.
- Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying, if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying degree.
Cochin University MCA application fee for general category candidates is INR 1,100. While the Kerala SC/ST candidates have to pay INR 500. The application fee payment can be done in online mode through credit card/debit card/net banking. An application form is submitted successfully only after successful fee payment.
