DIT University offers admission to the DPharm programme based on merit in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12. The candidates are not required to have any entrance exam score. DIT Dehradun University offers BTech, MTech, MBA, BSc, BDes courses at the UG and PG levels. The college also offers three years of BTech and BPharma Lateral Entry courses. Students can check some of the course-wise eligibility from the table presented below:

Yes, BTech Lateral Entry course is available at DIT University. BTech (LE) and BTech Core (LE) are a three-year courses offered at the UG level. A pass in Diploma in Engineering or BSc with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for the BTech (LE) courses. Admission will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam for BTech courses. 

Admission to the BTech course is based on the JEE Main score or Class 12 marks. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. It also offers direct admission to the Class 12 toppers (10% seats). Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. 

Apart from this, the selection criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is merit-based counselling on Diploma/BSc Percentage /UKSEE Score.

A total of 415 offers were made during DIT University placement 2024. It was 817 and 1251 in 2023 and 2022. The placement rate in 2024 was 64.18% whereas it was 89.01% and 95% in previous two years. The highest package offered in 2024 and 2023 was 44 LPA and 58 LPA.
