DIT University offers admission to the DPharm programme based on merit in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12. The candidates are not required to have any entrance exam score. DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. The university is ranked at 83rd position under the Pharmacy category by the NIRF 2025. DIT university has also been ranked at the 21st position by the Week for the year 2025 for B.Arch.

The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT University Dehradun also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. Step 1: Online Application

Aspirants need to apply online for the respective course  Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

DIT University will shortlist candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. Candidates also have to undergo counselling for a few courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.

Step 3: Counselling, Document Verification & Final Admission

Candidates are called for the counselling round and document verification, post selections.
