DIT Dehradun MCA Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates & Eligibility

There are certain documents that the students must keep handy during form filling and at the time of admission. The university require these documents for verification purposes. Some of the documents that the students should keep with them during DIT University DPharm admissions are:

Step 1: Online Application

Aspirants need to apply online for the respective course  Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

DIT University will shortlist candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. Candidates also have to undergo counselling for a few courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.

Step 3: Counselling, Document Verification & Final Admission

Candidates are called for the counselling round and document verification, post selections.

DIT Dehradun MCA placement report is not released. However, School of Computing placement report 2024 is released. As per the report, the highest package offered was 44 LPA whereas the mean package was 6.26 LPA. 

Candidates need to submit qualification certificates during the form filling and admission. The important documents required at the time of admission at DIT University:

Step 1: Online Application

DIT University offers good and standard packages to students. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters offered over 1,450 job offers to the students of the batch 2024. The highest package offered at DIT Dehradun in 2024 stood at INR 58 LPA. Earlier, over 270 recruiters participated in the placement process 2023 at DIT University and presented over 1,270 job offers to the students of Class 2023. The highest package package offered during DIT University placements in 2023 was also INR 58 LPA.

As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that DIT Deradun alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 37% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 12% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. Admission to MCA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have qualified UKSEE are also eligible for admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA. 

DIT University DPharm fee is inclusive of various components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, and more. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. DIT DPharm tuition fee is INR 1.6 lakh and the hostel fee is INR 1.13 lakh. Students have to pay some amount of the total fee for seat confirmation. It must be noted that the given fee details are as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change. In  DIT University, Registration fee of INR 1,250 and Admission Fee of INR 10,000 fees once paid will not be refunded once the payment is done. All withdrawal applications will be processed by the Registrar Office of DIT University on recommendations of the Head, Admissions. Further, In case, the student reports to attend the Programme and subsequently applies for withdrawal, an additional amount of Rs 10,000/- on account of Joining Kit will be deducted over and above from the refundable amount as mentioned in the table provided above. Given below are Percentage of Refund of Academic Fee, along with criteria:

A total of 415 offers were made during DIT University placement 2024. It was 817 and 1251 in 2023 and 2022. The placement rate in 2024 was 64.18% whereas it was 89.01% and 95% in previous two years. The highest package offered in 2024 and 2023 was 44 LPA and 58 LPA.

A Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is an undergraduate pharmacy degree course. It is one of the popular job-oriented courses among students after Class 12. The course revolves around the study of Pharmaceuticals and Medications, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, and other topics.

BPharmacy is necessary for registration as a chemist in many nations across the globe. Because both BPharma and PharmD are required for licensure in most countries, they are regarded as equal. Moreover, the course teaches students about drug manufacturing, dosage formulation, chemical nature analysis, and preclinical testing of new pharmaceuticals. Aside from the technical aspects of Pharmacy, BPharmacy discusses pharmaceutical product marketing and the patenting of novel pharmaceuticals. 

The total number of seats available for the DPharm progrmme at DIT University is 60. Applicants are admitted to the programme in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. The seat allotment shall be carried out on a merit-basis. Further, it must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

To withdrawal the application from the hostel, candidates are required to submit their request to the administration department. If the student withdraws before the notified date of commencement of classes/reporting for hostel, only Rs. 1,000/- will be deducted as processing charges and balance shall be refunded. If the student has availed hostel facility even for one day in a calendar month, then Mess & Laundry fee for that calendar month shall be deducted.
