At GIET University, the BTech course is a three-year and lateral entry is a four-year programme. The programme falls under the School of Technology and the candidate must meet the last qualifications. The university conducts its own entrance exam called GIETEE and should secure a minimum 45% aggregate. Students will be short-listed as per their entrance examination rank and will be called for the counselling process. However, the candidates who have scored valid JEE Main rank are eligible for the counselling process as 50% of the total seats are reserved for JEE Main/OJEE candidates. Candidates who have not appeared for the above-mentioned entrance exam are not eligible for admission.
