GAT (PGP) Counselling 2026: Check Dates, Fees & Procedure, Seat Allotment Result
GAT Post Graduate Test For Pharmacy 2025 ( GAT (PGP) )
GAT (PGP) Counselling 2026 will be conducted by the organising body, GITAM, via e-counselling mode through the official website, apply.gitam.edu. The counselling dates have not been released yet. It is mandatory to participate in the counselling to get admission in MPharma course. The first step is to apply for the counselling, and thereafter fill in the choices and lock them. There will be limited seats; therefore, it is important to follow the timeline and adhere to it as per the guidelines issued by the GITAM institute. Generally, the counselling begins 15 days after the GAT (PGP) result is declared.
The candidate must pay the counselling application fee to ensure that the registration is complete. After the seat allotment, candidates will be issued a letter for seat confirmation. In case the candidate wants to secure the seat, then he/she will have to follow the institute reporting guidelines and pay the aforementioned admission fee(s) at the institute.

About GAT (PGP) Counselling 2026
GAT-PGP counselling will be conducted at various locations along with the online process. Candidates who qualify will have to download the call letter from the official website and attend online counselling at any of the following seven centres:

Documents Required for GAT (PGP) Counselling 2026
Counselling fee: INR 1,000/- has to be paid in cash at the time of counselling.
The documents required at the time of counselling must be presented in original along with one set of photocopies. Also carry two passport-size photographs. Here is a list of all other important documents required for verification and admission confirmation:
- GAT 2026 Counselling Call Letter
- 10th class or Equivalent pass certificate
- 10+2 / Intermediate marks statement and Pass Certificate
- Transfer and Conduct Certificates
- Medical Certificate from Civil Surgeon (in case of PH Candidates)
- Integrated Community Certificate (in case of SC/ST)
