How to participate in AP PGECET Counselling 2026?

To participate in the counselling, qualifying the exam is mandatory. The counselling process can be checked below:

• Go to official website: cap.apcfss.in

• Click on registration link and enter details, such as board name, hall ticket number, year of passing, date of birth, contact number, email ID, aadhar number, etc. 

• Complete registration and pay fees. Once registration is complete, login credentials will be sent to your email ID and mobile number

• Enter details and complete rest of the details

• Upload documents for verification

• Submit AP PGECET counselling form

For students applying through GATE, candidates have to provide their GATE exam and score details. Valid GATE scorecard include 2026/2025/2024. If a candidate has a multiple scorecard, then upload the one with the highest marks. 

AP PGECET 2026 Counselling Fees

• The counselling fee is mandatory and is non-refundable

• For general category, AP PGECET counselling fee is INR 1000

• For SC/ST applicants, the fee is INR 500

Documents required for AP PGECET Counselling

Candidates must keep the following documents ready for counselling:

• GATE or GPAT scorecard

• Provisional or degree certificate

• Qualifying exams marksheet

• Memo of SSC or its equivalent

• Study certificates from Class 10 to graduation

• Integrated community certificate

• Transfer certificate

• Income certificate /Household card (white) or Ration card

• EWS certificate issued by Tahsildar if applicable.

The cutoff is the minimum mark required to be eligible for the exam. The cutoff are basically of two types: qualifying and admission cutoff in AP PGECET. 

• The AP PGECET qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark to be eligible for counselling. For general category, the minimum passing mark is 30 out of 120 marks. There is no minimum passing mark for reserved category. 

• While, the admission cutoff is the minimum mark needed to be eligible for admission to MTech colleges in Andhra Pradesh

To download Andhra Pradesh PGECET rank card 2026, candidates need to provide their registration number, PGECET hall ticket number, and date of birth. Candidates must note that AP PGECET scorecard is valid for one academic year only. They can use their rank card during admission counselling.

• This year, the qualifying rate of AP PGECET 2026 was 93.29%.
