Placements: In our university, there are very few chances of placements of biotechnology students. In other departments, there are plenty of placements but not in the biotechnology department. Many students go for internships in many institutions and companies. Roles offered are biotechnologist, research scientist, and many more.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department of biotechnology is good. There is Wi-Fi on the overall campus, library, and hostel. But facilities in my hostel are not so good. The food is average. Sharing a room with at least 4 or 5 students is the worst. In the hostel, there are study rooms. Medical facilities are available outside of the hostel which is good.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful but not all. Some behave like they are some kind of god and teach us nothing but just give us a struggle journey. Semester exams are not that hard but okay. The percentage of passing in the semester is around 40 to 50%.

Other: I'm a zoology student but I took the GATE exam and cleared, so I can enrol in biotechnology. I'm very interested in research, so I exchanged the course zoology for biotechnology. The best thing about biotechnology is that students can study everything like science, maths, chemistry, and physics. It is very good for the entrance exam. I wish to improve the syllabus that are good but teachers never complete their part and force students to complete it before the semester exam. Extracurricular activities at my university are almost every month. Scholarships are also provided for students.

Absolutely satisfied but there is no good placement opportunity.

Placements: No placements in the field of biotechnology but there is a good placement opportunity in B.Tech course. There is not a single student who gets placed by the university. Our seniors do get a placement but believe me it depends on you people and how you approach companies.

Infrastructure: It is awesome there, really enjoyed a lot. There is 24 hrs Wi-Fi facility available on campus, hostel, classrooms, and library. The mess food is normally good to eat but sometimes as normal mess, it depends on the contractor how food facility is provided.

Faculty: Faculty members are good there. Course curriculum should be improved and upgraded. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching facility and quality are superb. Course curriculum is relevant, and semester exam is set to a mediocre level.

Other: Events, festivals, and youth fests are awesome.

The overall facility and faculty are nice, and the labs are also very efficient.

Placements: Companies do come to our college but the rate of placement is low. The training and placement cell is active but not much placement in the M.Sc. Biotechnology course will be seen. I was a little disappointed at this point. Otherwise, training and placement cells are doing great work.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the hostels works properly, the labs of the department are very nice and the classrooms are also very airy and nice. There are a lot of canteens on campus; there won't be any shortage. There are also multiple libraries in hostels and one big one in college. Ample facilities are there.

Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are nice. Teachers are helpful and as it's mostly a practical course, the lab environment is nice but as experiments happen in groups, students don't get hands-on training except for two or three students who will become leaders and perform the experiments; otherwise, the facility is there.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 75-80% of students get placed, and the other students get internship opportunities in FSCI in biotech research laboratories. DD Enterprises also visit the campus. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package is about 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel has good facilities like Wi-Fi, clean classrooms, a hygienic mess, medical facilities in the physiotherapy department, etc. A huge playground is available for different sports and games.

Faculty: Faculty members are not very good. Some teachers can't help us, but some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. It depends on the performance of students. The pass percentage is approximately 40%.

Review of GJUST - Guru Jambheshwar University of Science And Technology.

Placements: Placements are provided in the final year. The placement condition is not much good. Only 50-60% of students got placed in companies such as Haldirams, DD Enterprises, Biotech Private Limited, Biotech Research Labs, etc. About 70% of students get internship opportunities. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA in 2021.

Infrastructure: The hostel condition is good. There are 3 boys' and 3 girls' hostels. The mess is hygienic. A canteen and cafeteria are available. A huge library is available. Wi-Fi is available in the library and classrooms. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games facilities are available at the university.

Faculty: Teachers are rude if students are found guilty. If students don't do research work timely, the teachers will also give an extension. Teachers are very knowledgeable. They have 20 years of experience in the field. Semester exams are difficult, but practical exams are easy. The pass percentage is 35-40%.
