Review of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Gharwal University.
Placements: Students who were placed in last year's B.Tech course were about 80% in the highest package of football LPA on campus, while the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course are TCS, HCL, etc. Several students have used them to get internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and there is Wi-Fi installed throughout the campus. There are different labs and PCs available for students, and the library is fully air-conditioned. Various facilities are provided in the hostel, and good-quality food is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are also very supportive and well-qualified. They are very knowledgeable and have significant experience in teaching. The curriculum is very easy to make students industry-ready. Exams are held on a semester basis, and the pass percentage is high, with most students passing the exams except for a few who may struggle in the final exams.
Other: I chose this course because it was my passion and it was my future as well. I also wanted to be in a government field college.

Review of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University [HNBGU].
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in a course. The highest package is for mechanical engineering, which is 7.5 LPA, and the companies that came were Google, HCL, Acer, etc. The role in your courses is computer science engineering, which offers software development and engineering courses.
Infrastructure: Very good quality of facilities and infrastructure is available in our college. The college building has all the proper facilities, including Wi-Fi, internet labs, and classrooms. There is a big library for the students to study without any disturbance.
Faculty: Teachers present in our college are very helpful and very supportive. They are all very good faculty members. During the semester exams, the moderation is almost fair, with some people getting back in college; otherwise, all students do well.
Other: I am pursuing my B.Tech here; I joined in 2024 and will leave the college in 2028. I will continue my studies at IIT Madras and maintain a CGPA for my placements for the first round, and also try for government exams.

My college comes under the central university.
Placements: Placement rates vary by program and year, with some reporting over 70% placement with average package ranges from 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 50-60% of students got internships in companies like Wipro and TCS. Top roles offered are software developer, data scientist, system analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: I would rate 4 stars for the infrastructure and hostel. Facilities and infrastructure are above average. There is separate Wi-Fi everywhere on campus. The library, hostel, classrooms, and labs all have separate Wi-Fi facilities. In the hostel, the food is good. Medical facilities are available 24x7. Sports equipment is available 24x7 in the hostel and on campus.
Faculty: I would rate 4 stars for the course curriculum. All teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified from reputed institutes. Teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is totally relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate and almost 80-90% of students pass exams.
Other: It is value for money. For campus crowd and campus life, I would rate 4 stars. I chose this course because I want to contribute to the CSE sector. My course trains students to become industry-ready. I wish the project would be given in 2nd semester to gain more practical knowledge. Fests, events, the campus crowd, connectivity, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and all are above average.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good campus.
Placements: The university offered a package of 6 lac/year to the highest-paid students, 2-3 lac/year to the lowest-paid students, and an average package of 5 lac/year. Placement rates depend on the skills of the students and are average for the university as a whole. Some courses have better placement rates than others. Top employers include Tech Mahindra and Cipla. Prestigious programs often lead to internships. The top roles offered depend on the branch of study. Tech offers software engineer, data scientist, and AI specialist positions; digital marketing offers content marketer, digital analyst, and digital marketing manager positions.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department are very good. The 24/7 free Wi-Fi network, smart classrooms, and central library are available to all students. The library is open from 8 am to 8 pm and has a huge collection of books. The hostel facilities are also very good, especially for girls. The food in the mess is good, and the canteen offers a variety of food, including fast food and simple food. There is a hospital near the college, and 24/7 ambulance service is available for students. The college gym is available at a very affordable price. The hostel safety is also very good.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and helpful. They were generally well qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was very good. The curriculum was relevant in most cases and aligned with industry needs, but it may require additional self-learning for some fields. The exams were moderately difficult and focused on both concepts and memorization. A minimum passing percentage of 35% is required, but the actual pass percentage is typically high, around 80-90%, depending on the students.
Other: I chose this college because of my interest in technology, coding, and the career opportunities in the IT field. The best things about this college are the exposure to programming, the latest technologies, and excellent job prospects. However, there is room for improvement in providing more practical learning, industry exposure, and an updated curriculum. The campus crowd is diverse, competitive, and collaborative, and the mountains enhance the beauty of the campus.

Review of growth and development of the college.
Placements: In the Computer Science and Engineering department, the placement rate is below 20%. Students suffer many problems. There is no active teacher involved in the training and placement cell. There is a training and placement cell but they don't work properly for students.
Infrastructure: Hostel provides Wi-Fi facilities and cleaning services. There is a common area for parties and functions. All sports facilities are available. Medical services are provided by the chief warden, along with ambulance services for serious conditions.
Faculty: There is no excessive workload or pressure on students. Students have plenty of time to build their skills. Teachers are helpful with any study-related issues and provide proper guidance for any problems. Semester exams are very difficult. There is a relative marking and the CGPA grading system is bad.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer. There are limited teachers in our college. College organizes various fests. Scholarships are only provided for Uttarakhand local students and Uttar Pradesh Muslim students.

Hi Priyajit, your 12th score is good. Taking into consideration for taking admission in engineering you have to score atleast 50% in PCM group i.e. physics chemistry and maths. Now, have a look at your score in these 3 subjects. Calculate score and check whether you score above 50%.
