Patnanagar University conducts GBPUAT entrance exam for admission to BSc (Hons) courses. The university also accepts ICAR AIEEA for Agriculture courses. Once the selection process is over for BSc, the university conducts counselling round. The number of counselling rounds will depend on the vacancy of seats. Online counselling for all programmes will be carried out after declaration of results. Aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Aspirants must pass intermediate Agriculture/ Science with Mathematics or Biology or equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for reserved categories) to apply for GBPUAT BSc (Hons) courses. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
