All about Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Placements: From the point of view of a law student, we do not have that many placements, but students from our college get placed in top law firms and under senior advocates. We have the advantage of location, so you can do as many internships as you can, which further helps you in getting placed at a good position.

Infrastructure: For hostel and infrastructure, it is always one of the best campuses in Delhi. We have a beautiful 60-acre campus, which is quite large compared to other colleges in Delhi. The hostel is definitely an edge over other colleges, with single rooms and a good mess.

Faculty: The faculty is good and qualified according to UGC standards. Last time, we received a NAAC A++ rating. The curriculum and syllabus are as per BCI standards. The syllabus is, I think, sufficient for what a student needs. We have moot court competitions and all. Exams are scheduled twice a semester.

An insight into the University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIPU.

Placements: If we talk about in-campus placements, the percentage of placed students is pretty low (12-15%). Additionally, the average placement offer ranges between 7-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies/firms include Bharucha & Partners, RedHat, Singhania and Partners, etc. However, the Internship and Placement Cell manages to pull off good internships for the students, allowing them to secure good PPOs at reputed law firms in the country. The starting role of an Associate is offered to students who graduate from this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is undoubtedly top-notch as the university is a NAAC A+ Accredited Institution. The classes are centrally air-conditioned, and there are two well-equipped libraries (Central Library and Law Library). As far as the hostel is concerned, it is a wonderful place to be as there are single rooms allotted to each student, a fully-fledged gym, and 24/7 access to a reading room which is completely air-conditioned. The food in the mess is great compared to other hostels in Delhi. Non-veg is served twice a week, and meals are provided four times a day. The quality of the food is top-notch, and sanitation and hygiene are given due importance.

Faculty: I wouldn't say every faculty is good, but most of the teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive. The quality of teaching here is pretty good as only the best teachers and scholars get an opportunity to be recruited as full-time teaching staff. The curriculum is quite extensive as we have a 25-marker internal exam, a 75-marker external exam, and a 100-marker Comprehensive Viva after each semester. The difficulty of exams isn't that high, but you have to balance your internships along with your academics, which is a major challenge.

Other: I chose this course as Delhi is the best place to be if you wish to pursue and practice law. Students from various states come here for their internships as the city provides you with the best law firms, tribunals, regulatory bodies, as well as 12 district courts, the Hon'ble High Court, and the Apex Court to explore and work at. If I get an opportunity, I would like to create an MUN culture in the college as diplomatic relations and understanding are essential skills nowadays. Anugoonj is the Annual Cultural Event of IP University, and the kind of competitions and extracurricular activities we have on campus are absolutely enriching. The crowd is pretty competitive as we get in through the CLAT entrance exam, and the economically weaker sections also get the Apna Bank Scholarship to meet their tuition expenses.

Really good infrastructure with great faculty members, also good competitive crowd at USLLS.

Placements: There are not much placements given for law at this date but days after days, placements are increasing in this sector. Our placement cell is also developing although placement still at this date is very less as compared to NLUS. You have to apply for internships through mail and LinkedIn.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the major point which becomes center of attention and University School of Law and Legal Studies is situated in C-block of GGSIPU Dwarka, sec16c main campus. Here, the infrastructure is well maintained with ACs installed in classrooms and smart boards installed to make studying handy.

Faculty: Teachers here are much qualified and knowledgeable, especially our faculty members like Sir Lisa, ma'am Dr Queen Pradhan, and all are excellent in their fields and work also. Curriculum is updated throughout the introduction of BNSS. Semester exams are moderate in IPU but the majority depends on our internals as it carries 40 marks which is also a major chunk.

Other: I chose BBA LL.B. because it provides you with two basic entrances in the field of management as well as in the field of law and legal jobs. I think if they reduce the number of classes that start at 9:00 AM and end at 5:30 PM, feel like a hectic corporate job, then it will be much relaxed job for the students. Events and fests here are good, especially the Anugoonj and other small fests like Diwali fest, law fest, etc.

Review of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Placements: The internship and placement cell is highly active in this college. It is highly helpful for UG students who do not have good exposure. Most of our alumni have been placed through I&P cell.

Infrastructure: There is a library with a huge collection of law reports and law books. Wi-Fi connectivity is better. Classrooms are well-equipped with CCTV cameras. Every classroom has a blackboard, podium, desks, etc. The food served in the hostel is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They always clarify concepts. The course curriculum is exhaustive but prepares students for the real world. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Students should ensure 75% of attendance in this college.

Other: Regular seminars and webinars are conducted in this college. Many other cells and societies are running to help students. This university organises a yearly fest called Anugoonj in February.

The college has good infrastructure but less placements.

Placements: Hardly any student gets placed here. 1.2 LPA is the minimum package offered, and 15 LPA is the maximum package. No big companies, only start-ups and entry-level jobs with a 6-months contract, and only after that, they fire you, with no specific reason. Intern or associate roles are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The college and university work well on infrastructure and services provided to us, like water, Wi-Fi, classrooms etc. Air-conditioning is available.

Faculty: The teachers are quite good, not all are helpful, but some are good. They're well qualified and knowledgeable, but somehow, not everyone wants to showcase their knowledge and skills, which helps us to learn from them. So, we have ended up achieving good things.
