IPU LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
All LLM aspirants willing to seek IPU admission are required to appear for CLAT PG, conducted by National Law University. For LLM (Weekend) programme admission, candidates are shortlisted based on a merit list prepared by GGSIPU on the following parameters and respective weightage:
- CLAT score: 50%
- Performance in PI round: 30%
- Year-wise professional experience: 20%
While LLM is offered for a duration of one year, LLM (Weekend) is a two-year course. GGSIPU offers LLM programme via its two affiliated colleges, including University School of Law & Legal Studie with an annual seat intake of 40 students, and via Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies which offers two specialisations for LLM, including Corporate Law (seats: 40) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (seats: 60). The LLM (Weekend) programme is offered only by University School of Law & Legal Studies with an annual seat intake of 40 students. The fee for the LLM programme is INR 1.10 lakh. Candidates must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to qualify for admission:

GGSIPU BTech cutoff 2026 has been released across multiple categories and colleges affiliated with IP University. For B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), the JEE Main Round 1 closing ranks ranged between 46521 and 158229 for students belonging to the General AI quota.
There are multiple components included in the course total fee, such as tuition fee, registration fee, security charges, etc. Some of the components are one-time chargeable such as security deposit and registration fee. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.
