IPU CET 2026 exam pattern is vital for candidates aspiring for admission to BTech lateral entry and BTech (Biotechnology). IPU CET exam is conducted for Lateral Entry to BTech programmes for Diploma holders (Code 128), Lateral Entry to BTech programmes for BSc Graduates (Code 129) and BTech (Bio-Technology) (Code 130). The IPU CET counselling process for these programmes will be conducted after the results are out. Admissions to the BTech (Code 131) programme of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be made through IPU CET 2026 counselling. IPU CET 2026 Exam Pattern

IPU CET question paper will include a total of 100 objective-type questions. Each question will carry four options, out of which only one option will be correct. Candidates are required to mark the correct one on the OMR sheet. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology for BTech (BioTechnology). Candidates can check the IPU CET syllabus to know about the important topics of the different subjects. It will help them in devising a better exam preparation strategy.

One question will carry four marks i.e. for every correct answer, four marks will be awarded. On the other hand, there is a provision of negative marking wherein one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
