
IPU CET 2019 counselling process will commence from July 1. Candidates who qualified in IPU CET 2019 can participate in the exam counselling for the final admission and seat allotment. It may be noted that while IPUCET has been discontinued for BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA, BA LLB & BBA LLB courses, candidates applying for admission in such courses will have to participate in IPU CET counselling. Such candidates will be allocated seat basis their scores in the respective national level exam like JEE Main, GATE, CAT etc.
GGSIPU has declared IPU CET 2019 result for all the papers. IPU CET counselling is conducted for exam qualifiers to bag a seat into the courses offered at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The exam counselling is organized in both online and offline modes and in various rounds basis the availability of seats. Allotment of seats will be done basis the candidate’s rank in IPU CET 2019 exam.

How to register for IPU CET 2019 Counselling?
Follow the step by step guide to register online for IPU CET 2019 counselling.
Step 1: Visit the official website
Step 2: Navigate to “IPU CET 2019 counselling registrations”
Step 3: Fill the form with required details
Step 4: Check for any errors and then submit
All CET qualifiers who wish to participate in the exam counselling will have to make the payment of prescribed registration fee; Rs 1000 in the available payment modes.
IPUCET 2019 online counselling process
The process of online counselling for IPUCET 2019 involves the following steps:
Step 1: Online Registrations
Candidates shall register online on the official website in order to participate in IPU CET counselling process. On successful registration, candidates will be asked to make the payment of prescribed application/registration fee. Payment can be made through cash/credit card/debit card/online transfer.
Payment of application fee will complete the candidate’s registration process for IPU CET counselling. It is advisable for candidates to complete the online registration process a few days before the last date. This will allow scope of making any changes to the information registered (If desired).
Candidates will be allowed to make alterations to their registered information. They will have to make the changes as desired within the given time frame as informed by the admissions authority.
Step 2: Document Verification
Candidates will have to carry the required documents for the process of verification which will be conducted at the allotted centre at the time of registrations. Take a look below at the list of documents required for IPU CET 2018 document verification process:
- IPU CET 2019 admit card
- Registration slip
- Mark sheets of qualifying exams
- Xerox copies of attested mark sheets by the Gazetted officer
- Character/Migration certificates from the school
- Category certificate (If available)
Step 3: Choice filling
Candidates will be asked to fill their preferred choice of college and course for the process of seat allotment. Candidates will not be allotted seats if the following step is left incomplete or skipped.
It is advisable for candidates to fill as many choices as possible. This will increase the possibility of getting a desirable course and college.
The university has also uploaded a list of Institute wise and rank wise college cut offs. The list if available online on the official website of the university's admissions page.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
Eligible candidates will be allotted seats basis their IPU CET 2019 rank and availability of seats in their preferred choices. This makes it mandatory for candidate to not only clear IPU CET 2019 written exam but also obtain a rank equal to the IPU CET 2019 cut offs.
Withdrawal options must be requested online within the given time frame. An amount of Rs 1000 is to be paid as the withdrawal fee.
