Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. Good placement in last year and also have good teacher.
Placements: Yes, many chances of placements. Most famous company tie up and give good package. Last time mostly student take good package. Infosys, L&T construction company, Manhindra, Tata motors etc. Company are come and place the student. Yes, there is placement cell. Last time The maximum package is 12 Lacs and minimum package is 6.4 Lacs. They are very good company are come and tie up. The IKG PTU is good for all student. I love This campus.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure. Neat and clean, green campus. Very good building block. There is a big library and many books are available in library. Class room are very good and also have air conditioner in room and also have project. Wi-fi facility are very good. They hostel building are too good. They have 8 floor in one hostel. The also have alivator facility. The toilet are neat and clean.
Faculty: In IKG PTU the teacher are very helpful. And very well qualified. All teacher are Ph.D. holder. They treat with student like friend. They used smart classes teaching method. All teacher are very good in nature. They also plan a industry tour in every month. They are good in nautre. They told of u don't under stand come with me I teach u don't feel shy am your frnd so don't worry come in my office.
Other: Every year they organise Events and fest. There are 1k studend in our compus. They also provide scholarship for maroet holder, poor people gets.

This is a best college for an engineering future.
Placements: The placement record, according to the previous year, has slightly reached higher than the earlier batch. On an average, the placement percentage is 60 to 70. The teacher and the faculty members are quite good as per the latest book knowledge as prescribed by the university in the running batch. The laboratories are also equipped with the latest type for the studies of the students. An e-board, that is, an e-classroom is available for the students. All the rooms have fully centralised air-conditioning for the student's activities. The senior's batch of pharmacy got the highest placement from this college. The students get placement not only in India but they also get an opportunity to study abroad.
Infrastructure: Surya World Engineering College is the latest and the advanced education hub in Punjab Technical University, Mohali. This college has a 50-acre land area. It consists of several playgrounds like a basketball court, football, cricket, badminton and much more. It regularly organises various extracurricular activities for the students. It has a swimming pool and gym facilities too.
Faculty: The faculty are qualified with the corresponding subjects for various branches of students. The head of the department consistently checks the quality and quantity of the study portion of the students and interacts with them for an enhancement of their future practical experience of that branch and subject.

Yes, it's compulsory. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects with minimum 60% marks. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of JEE score.
