The worst college and the place where I met the most toxic people ever in my life.
Placements: The placement at our year was like okay. About 50% of students did not get placed however recession was also there so you can't blame anyone although I think more efforts could have been made by the placement officer. The highest was 52 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good particularly the hostels good the lecture halls and LHTC were great. Professors were just very arrogant and they did not care about the future of students. All they had was ego just pure ego and they did not care about the dignity of the students.
Faculty: The curriculum was outdated. It had nothing to do with modern problem-solving. Some of the faculty were good but most of the professors were either too arrogant or just filled with their delusional egos that they didn't even care about students. Even they used to ignore genuine medical problems.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure, but the placements are very good, so you ignore the other defaults
Placements: Almost 80-90% placed. Highest of 110 LPA,Lowest of 3 LPA,Average of 18 LPA. Top recruiters: NVIDIA, Accenture, Oracle,Atlassian, Deloitte, etc. Almost 50-60 % got the internship in companies like Google,Amazon, Accenture, etc. The internship recruitment will be fully done online. There will be very few companies that will come to offer internships. But you can apply off-campus for the internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are Central A.C. in classrooms, labs, and libraries. But, in hotel rooms, there will be no A.C. Students have to buy their own cooler with the permission of the warden and have to pay the current bill. Food in the mess is avg(both veg and non-veg). In the first and second year, students have to share the room with 3 other students, and from the third year, students get their own single room. Every hostel has its own canteen, but only the second year’s canteen has food quality that is nice, and non-veg food is also available. There is a Primary Health Care Centre (PHC) present in the college with an ambulance facility 24/7. There are many sports clubs available, and students can have their own choice to join the club.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable here, and all are qualified to teach here. The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are very helpful; students can approach them and can clear their doubts anytime. The course curriculum is very relevant to the respective disciplines, and this curriculum is helpful to make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the exam varies from exam to exam, but overall the difficulty is moderate.
Other: I chose this course because firstly I have no interest in learning coding, and as the present trend is going towards the semiconductor industry, I chose the ECE course. But in this ECE course also, if you want to go towards the coding side, it’s very easy there as there is a separate club dedicated to improving the coding skills of the students(The Programming Club). Also in my course there are a lot of classes in the second year as compared to other courses;if the classes are less it will be better and the facilities in the lab also should improve. In this college there will be many fests as there are many cultural clubs available in the campus. But the fests will be very small compared to the fests in IITs. The Campus Crowd is very good and the connectivity is very nice among the students here, but the campus surrounding is not nice as the campus is located on top of a hill and in the middle of a forest;you have to travel 10 kms to reach the city.

Decent placements, average to good infrastructure, almost no fest culture.
Placements: The 2023-24 placement season at IIIT Jabalpur concluded successfully, with 65% of placed students securing packages above INR 10 LPA. The highest domestic offer reached INR 110 LPA, while the top international package was INR 122 LPA, with three students receiving international offers. The average package for undergraduate students was INR 19.27 LPA, and for postgraduate students, it was INR 12.54 LPA. A total of 284 offers were made during the placement drive, with participation from over 90 companies.
Infrastructure: The faculties are okay, and the infrastructure of the classrooms and labs is pretty much good as it's only been 15 years since the college started properly, so the infrastructure is maintained. Hostels are better than most of the old NITs; three-seater rooms come with enough space, personal wardrobes, and electricity is almost 24/7, though there can be faults. The canteens and other food stalls are there on campus to provide you with your cravings; the mess is okay, not really good but alright. There are around 14 sports clubs, and the clubs are handled by the students; one can choose the sports according to their interest.
Faculty: Both good and bad faculty can be seen, but overall, at the end, it's up to you. The syllabus and curriculum are alright but can be tough to get a good CGPA compared to the rest of the colleges or NITs. At the end of the BTech, one should have a CGPA of 5+ to be eligible for the degree; otherwise, to sit for good placements, one should have around a 7.5 CGPA.
Other: Well, to be honest, there is no culture in the college if you expect exciting fun events happening in the college; this is not the place for it. Most of the IIITs have no culture to host fests and events; although festivals are celebrated on a good scale over here, you can't expect people to come here to perform. NITs are much better to go for that.

Detailed Review of IIITDM Jabalpur by a sophomore
Placements: The placements here are decent compared to other colleges you will get at this rank. Many companies like Amazon, Nvidia, TCS, and Goldman Sachs do visit the campus. This year was a recession year, yet the college did better than what was expected. The average package was around 16 lakhs. The highest package was off-campus and was around 1.2 crore in Singapore, as in cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: The hostels are decent; you have a 3-sharing room for the first 2 years, and you have a single-sharing room in the third and fourth years. The hostel has basic amenities like 3 fans in a room, a water cooler on each floor, 3 beds, 3 tables, and chairs, and a common bathroom for each block in the hostel. The mess food is decent; the menu changes a bit every month by the student mess group. Never expect home-like food from any mess in this world, but you'll get decent food to eat. For the first year, it is compulsory; from the second year, it is your choice.
Faculty: The teachers here are well-qualified with a Ph.D. degree from various colleges, and most of them are supportive if you take a step forward to ask them. There are also a few strict ones, but it is manageable. The curriculum is not the best, but it is the same with most colleges in India; you don't get real industrial exposure anywhere. The exam pattern is 2 quizzes and a lab exam if the course has one, and one mid-sem exam and one end-sem exam.
Other: I am currently in ECE, and the batch strength is around 141, and for CS, it is around 290, including DASA students. Don’t expect much of a fest here, but you can grow your coding interest if you are active in that field and stay connected with the seniors. There are also a few clubs that are active in dramatics, singing, sports, and many more where you can enjoy.

The college is good overall for B.Tech.
Placements: Around 55 percent of people are placed in our college and the placements are good only for CSE and ECE but the placements are not good for MECH and some other courses. Companies did hire some people for internships, but they were not able to get full-time jobs. The highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: We get three sharing rooms in the hostel for the first three years but we get a single room in the final year. The rooms are provided with a fan, table, and racks for each and a 24/7 LAN connection is available in our rooms. We do have a canteen inside every hostel. Food is not really good but okay.
Faculty: The teachers are really friendly, and they are highly qualified in their field of work. The semester exams are okay but we should put effort into getting a good CGPA. Atleast one week prior preparation is required to get decent score. The course curriculum will be relevant to the course in its second year.

IIITDMJ has the best campus life, infrastructure & extracurricular along with faculty & placements.
Placements: Famous companies like Amazon, Cisco, Goldmann Sachs etc. visit the college for placements. Although they offer limited placements but those who work consistently throughout the 4 years get good placements. This year 2 of our seniors have gotten ppo in google, 4-5 got ppo from flipkart and, 2 got it from Amazon. The highest package was of 1.2 crores bagged by a senior who got placed in Atlantis, Singapore.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are amazing. Fully furnished and air conditioned. Lecture halls are there with comfortable seats and nice benches. Everyday, We look forward to going to classes and spend time in classrooms and labs. Wi-Fi works well in lecture halls and lab. We get LAN at hostel which is okay (doesn't work well everywhere). Mess food is okay too. It's edible. Also, menu is revised regularly and there's is south indian as well as north indian food available.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Mostly IITIANS. They're polite and always encourage us to clear our doubts. We are taught core courses and well as interdisciplinary courses throughout the curriculum. The curriculum focuses on overall development and not just rot learning of students. Exams are bearable there is pressure to do well but we are well taught for them.
Other: I mainly chose this college for the campus life you get. It's absolutely amazing lush green campus. You wake up everyday to chirping of beautiful birds. Watching the green everywhere you go. It keeps you energetic and is a great relief while going through rigorous and hectic days of college. Our cultural fest Tarang is round the corners and preparations are going well and good for it. The college encourages us to participate in extra curricular activities and there's a club for everything here. Sports culture is promoted well. We're made aware of the scholarship opportunities time and again. And as this is a fully government funded college there are ample government scholarships available for those who need them. The crowd is another plus point of the college there're people from all parts of India and foreign students admitted through DASA are also there. It's an excellent opportunity to experience the cultural diversity of our nation. We get to actually experience with others' cultures.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing.
Placements: Our college has training and placement cell. They always come forward to encourage students to participate in various programs, activities, workshops, and training. These activities are conducive to making students fit for their career growth. Our college has taken a new initiative to improve the placement cell.
Infrastructure: It is a fully residential campus. The hostel facility is available in our college. The hostel has a good environment. The hostel amenities play a very significant role in students' overall development.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Many of them are from IITs, and many of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is designed so that students can focus on their skill development.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in the semiconductor field. It is a good course.

Student life at iiitdmj.
Placements: About 91% of the total students get placed every year and I believe that the placements increase every year. Every year placement growth increases by 2.3%. For ECE the highest package offered on campus was INR 44 Lacs per annum and the off campus package offered was INR 82 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, library in our college are good enough. The WIFI in hostels and the facilities in the hostels are good. The food provided in the mess is far better than what we had earlier. In every hostel there is a canteen for students, except in girls hostel. The sports clubs is good too.
Faculty: The professors in our college are very knowledgeable and super qualified. The curriculum in our college is pretty good. They teach coding for core branch students. What is taught in college will not make you ready for the placements, you need to work on your skills for the placements.
Other: The thing I felt is the best in our college are the friends that you make in your journey and the senior- junior bonding.
