Good placements in 2024 to 2025.

Placements: In B.Tech electrical engineering in 2024 to 2025, out of 129 registered candidates, all 129 got placed. The highest package is 55LPA, the lowest package offered is 7.5LPA, and the average package offered is 9.5LPA to 11.13LPA. In the core sector, the top recruiting company is Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd.

Infrastructure: There is a Central library on the campus which has about 1.5 Lacs books,1627 thesis/dissertations. There are digital resources about 7000 books and 5000 journals. Hostel has good facilities, and there is a LAN facility for the internet. There is no Wi-Fi in hostels. Sports facilities are decent, there is a sports complex with equipment for most sports. There is no AC in most of the classrooms except for a few.

Faculty: Most professors are knowledgeable and open to discussion of doubts even after class hours. The quality of teaching is pretty good. The course provides specialized knowledge that can be used in multidisciplinary problems in the field of electrical engineering. Semester exams are not too difficult, their difficulty is above average. 75% attendance is mandatory to pass the semester.

The college values your efforts, offers great support, and is growing in exciting ways.

Placements: Till now, 65%-70% of seniors from my batch have been placed. The highest being 52 LPA and the median is about 10 LPA, majorly of the students get internships during their 3rd year, there's no such major role being favored by the companies for recruitment, majorly they hire for all the preferred domains students can offer them, majority of which is tech, core, management, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels allotted to first-year students are nice, and the rooms are spacious as well. Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are good, and so are the electrical supply facilities. The food being adorable as it's a student-owned mess, we can't expect much great quality in the first year.

Faculty: The faculty is great, a nice professor with great achievements and degrees in hand. The course curriculum is relevant to me as it fulfills the aspect and the domain I was searching for, the semester exams are not that tough, one can pass them easily by studying from zero one day before the exams. The passing percentage is about 4-5 CGPA, I think.

Other: I chose the course to explore throughout my degree, now I am doing that at my best, being secured by the placements also being provided by my college.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and good placements in 2024.

Placements: There is an 80-90% placement rate in electrical engineering, which is very good. The highest package for the electrical branch is 55 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA. Getting an internship opportunity is also good. 40-50% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not bad, and it is good. The latest technology is present in labs, etc. Hostels are very good, especially for first-year students. A very best facility of the college is that we will get free Wi-Fi in the whole campus area.

Faculty: Teachers are good and they will help us always. All teachers are PhD holders in their respective fields, so there is no doubt about their knowledge. The academic curriculum is good, and it will improve our skills, which will be very helpful in life and career. At last, I would say it's good.

Other: I chose electrical engineering because I am interested in it. Everyone should choose subjects in which they are interested. I wish that in my course, the latest technology and skills should be given to everyone. In this college, 15 or 20-year-old technology is given, which is not good, so I wish the latest technology should be provided. Campus life is very good. The campus is huge and there is a lot of empty space.

It has a good college life, wonderful people, and average placements.

Placements: This year, the placement percentage is not good at all. Last year, it was above 90%, but this year it is only 68.992%. The average package is around 9.5 LPA, and the highest package is 55 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. As always, students get better placements than core ones.

Infrastructure: Although Wi-Fi is there on the whole campus but it is poor in some regions. LAN is there in the hostel, which works better than Wi-Fi. Hostels are okay with all the basic facilities like washing machines, a night canteen, etc. Mess is run by students, so it varies from hostel to hostel and is average overall.

Faculty: Many teachers are good and helpful. A few teachers are a bit arrogant. Teaching quality is good, but most of the time, we will study by YouTube or notes only. Some teachers are brilliant, so don't miss their classes at all. Semester exams are challenging but can be dealt with a little seriousness. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because EE is a good branch. It is a little on the tougher side, but we are open to both core and tech jobs. There are several societies in MANIT. Each one is to match all possible interests and hobbies. There are sufficient tech, cultural, and literary societies.

Nice placement record of MANIT in 2025.

Placements: The placement record of our college is quite impressive. Almost all the students are placed. This year, especially in my branch, all students who registered got placed. In CSE and ECE, too, the placement is excellent. MANIT is always known for its core branches placement, too.

Infrastructure: As it is an old institute the infrastructure is old for some departments like MS ECE, but for all other departments, new buildings are there of 3-4 floors each. Library is the biggest library in central India. The QR-based entry system was implemented some days before. The CSE department is quite nice.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified. As this is a college of national importance and is controlled by the central government, they are passed out from NITs and IITs. Professors are professors, don’t make enemies with them, or else it can impact your grade. Some professors are quite helpful. They are wardens of hostel as well.

Other: Different types of big fests are conducted in our college, like Maffick, e-summit, Technosearch, Tooryaanad, and many.

There are two approaches you may follow. Firstly if you are considering a very highly paid job at initial and considering your interest go for IIEST. Second, if you concerned about the tags and connectivity and secure job offers go for electrical at MANIT.

How is electrical branch at MANIT, Bhopal in all aspects like placement etc.? Which is better electrical at MANIT or CSE at IIIDM, Jabalpur?

MANIT, Bhopal had a good placement record instead of the present scenario in most of the branches. Electrical being a core branch had less percentage placement and average package than CSE. Last year about 79% placement was recorded in MANIT for the electrical branch with the highest package of Rs 2
