The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

A few more updates are given below:

UCEED registration 2025 starts for IIT Delhi admission to the B.Des course; the last date to apply without late fee is Oct 31, 2024. With the late fee, the last registration date is Nov 8, 2024. The UCEED 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 19, 2025.
The IIT JAM 2025 online registration process for admission to the MSc course is open, and the last date to apply has been extended to Oct 18, 2024. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled for Feb 2, 2025.
CEED registration 2025 is open for IIT Delhi admission to the M.Des course; the last date to apply without late fee is Oct 31, 2024. The CEED 2025 exam will be held on Jan 19, 2025.

IITD the best B.Tech college.

Placements: Almost all the students who sat in placement got placed last year, with the top recruiter being Jane Street, which offered packages in crores. Average package was also very good and was approximately 17-20 L, while the lowest package was near 10 L. Top roles offered were coding, consultancy, and core.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is top-notch with excellent Wi-Fi and highly updated labs having all sorts of modern instruments available there. But hostels actually are not that good as the rooms are small and are triple sharing with no ACs and only fans.

Faculty: Faculty is the main thing at which IITD lacks; even though the professors are very well educated and are doing research at very good levels, they lack communication skills and that is why they are not very good at teaching. The curriculum gets updated every year to meet industry requirements.

Other: The fest of IITD, Rendezvous, which is held every year in October, is the biggest culture fest of North India and is head-to-head in competition with Mood Indigo of IIT Bombay.

The best dream college - IIT Delhi.

Placements: IITD is known for its placements. Last year, more than 80% of the students who appeared for job interviews got placed in all sorts of companies, including tech, consultancy, and core sectors. The highest package was in crores, offered by Jane Street, while the average package was approximately 17-18 lakhs.

Infrastructure: The facilities are the best. The rooms are good and spacious. The mess food is famous for its variety and taste. Classes are fully centralised air-conditioned. Wi-Fi speed is around 130 Mbps per student. The Central Library at IIT Delhi is one of the biggest and most prestigious libraries among all IITs.

Faculty: The teachers and professors are highly qualified and helpful. Most of the professors graduated from many reputed universities worldwide, such as Stanford University and Cambridge University. They have excellent experience in teaching, around 15-20 years, and are also engaged in research work for many organizations.

Other: IIT life is best known for the events and fests that take place throughout college life. October is mainly the time for the cultural fest Rendezvous, which is Asia's biggest cultural fest. The tech fest Tryst is also very famous, taking place around March. All the students from all years come together and participate in various events, creating nice memories.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the course curriculum of mathematics and computing department at IIT D.

Placements: The highest package would be around 2 CR, which is PPO. And the lowest, I would say, CTC is 8 lpa. I'm in the mathematics and computing branch at IIT Delhi, so I would say that till the 4th day, almost 50% were placed and till the 10th, 75%. As per the recession, it's quite okay for me. But in normal situations, it could have been way better. Top companies like Graviton, NVidia, Google, Microsoft and many more. The top two roles were software and data analysts.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are quite good, as per need. We have proper classes in the lecture hall and have Wi-Fi access at all locations on campus. Also, library hours are nice. And we have 24*7 access to the library at times of examination. Mess food quality is okay, not worse and not good. I'm in the Himadri Hostel. The canteen is okay too and medical facilities are also okay. The same goes for sports and games.

Faculty: Average teaching quality was very nice and some professors connected really well with us and conveyed concepts but we have some not-so-good professors too who aren't interested in average students and focused only on tips, which is not quite a good strategy. The course curriculum for my branch could be made more structured and flexible. Semester exams are difficult; it depends on the professor taking the course but overall, if you have prepared for the whole semester, it's easy and if you only do them two days before exams, it's going to be tough.

Other: I wanted to be in only the top IITs, so I took the most valuable branch I could get, which is mathematics and computing, at IIT Delhi. The best thing is that you are going to get placed even if you are putting in very little effort. To be improved would be its curriculum and the way of teaching. Extracurricular activities were excellent at IIT Delhi, but they have declined in recent years.

Campus full of amazing people.

Placements: I am a first-year student, so I don't know about placements, internships, and all that stuff, but as reviewed from seniors, these are amazing at IIT Delhi. Internships are highly paid, both in India and outside India. The placement cell is really active on campus.

Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available all across the campus. Classrooms are really awesome and fully air-conditioned. The mess food is average but yes, better than expected. Sports facilities are amazing, with lots of opportunities to explore all sports, both indoor and outdoor.

Faculty: Professors are the best, but the curriculum is a little old. From what I have experienced so far, the curriculum involves a bit of rote learning. Exams are moderate, but a lot of exams create mental pressure on us. Overall, it's fine because just after exams, there are a lot of events.

Other: The campus is full of events, fests, and the clubs are amazing.
