B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028
5.0
5.0Placements5.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Excellent faculty, strong placements, great opportunities, good sports, and extracurriculars.
Placements: 90% students are placed in electrical engineering. The average package is 32 LPA for placements. The top recruiter for electrical core is Texas Instruments. Many roles are offered, such as Quant trader, software developer, data analyst, core electrical engineering, and consulting, which are open to Electrical Engineering students.
Infrastructure: Campus facilities include Wi-Fi, AC lecture halls, well-equipped labs, a library, an innovation lab, & regular competitions. Hostel quality is good, with reliable medical support. Sports and games facilities are excellent, and the mess food is decent and satisfactory.
Faculty: Professors are highly knowledgeable, experienced, and well-qualified. The course curriculum has been recently updated to stay relevant to current industry needs. Mid-term and end-term exams are moderately difficult and require consistent preparation.
Other: Initially, I chose it because of my rank, but now I have developed an interest in my branch. More electives should be improved. Campus life outside academics is also good.

Decent placements, teaching assistants, and well-designed curriculum, all facilities are available.
Placements: In my branch, i.e., civil, there are a variety of jobs available, and people here often choose different fields. Core companies are like L&T, Godrej, PSUs, and many more. In software development, many companies, like Flipkart, Google, and Amazon, recruit. The average package is of 18 LPA, and the highest is 60 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has provided all the necessary facilities that could be done. The maintenance is different point. But like in every hostel, there are tv room, a music room, a common room, a study room, and different courts, a gym, and courts at insti level also there, the central library has all the necessary books. Hostel infrastructure is a bit old, but it can be compromised.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some professors are way too strict, like low attendance grade down and all that, besides the curriculum is good, i.e., if you study at least 1-2 hours daily, then the semester exams would be a piece of cake. The pass percentage is like 5 grade in each course.
Other: The attendance policy is a bit hectic, some courses are luck-based, and other things are nice.

5.0Placements3.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Amazing sports and cultural facilities, good placement, and the best place to do startups.
Placements: 95% get placed in the CS department. The highest package is 4 crores, the lowest is 40 LPA, and the average package is 60-70 LPA. Top recruiters are JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Jane Street, Optiver, etc. Top roles include data analyst, ML engineer, backend engineer, and frontend engineer.
Infrastructure: The internet is fine, some places have low connectivity, otherwise the internet is good on campus and provides good speed. Hostels are old and worn out, renovation is much needed. The library is amazing, 2 floor library, mess food is good and hygienic. Sports facilities are amazing.
Faculty: Depends on the professor and course. Grading and exams depend on professors decision. Exams surprise the students, we have open-book exams too. Some courses are crazy difficult, hence their exam also difficult. Professors are amazing, some are rude, but most of them are ready for collaboration and helping students.
Other: CS is the best course. The best thing about my course is that I get to meet amazing people, and they teach me many things.

The best college in the country.
Placements: More than 90% of the students are placed in my branch, and the rest who are not placed mostly went into higher studies or other government examinations. The highest package offered is around 2 Crores, while the average is at 70 LPA. The top recruiters are financial or Quant companies like Jane Street, Optiver, JP Morgan, etc., or FAANG companies or consultancy companies. Top roles offered are Quant roles like Quantitative Analyst, Software Engineers, or Consultancy roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere inside the campus. The labs are the best in the country and offer a wide variety of research opportunities. Classrooms are huge with top-quality seating arrangements and are fully air-conditioned. The library is also huge with almost 2 lac books. The quality of food is average to below average, but the canteens throughout the campus are quite good. Medical facilities are top-class, with a hospital on campus and ambulance facilities. We have a huge sports complex for all kinds of sports. Each hostel has its own gym, basketball court, and badminton court.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are the best to be offered in the country. They are very knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also perfect. The course curriculum also matches the market trends. The semester exams are medium to tough, depending on the difficulty of the courses and the course coordinator. The pass percentage is well above 90%.

Good infrastructure and facilities, and a lot more to explore.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of the batch get placed in PIE, while roughly around 10-12 percent of the students opt for higher studies and prepare for competitive exams. The highest is around something between 50 LPA and 70 LPA, while the average is above 16 LPA, and the lowest is found to be 8 LPA. Almost every FAANG, FMCG, and other government core companies like Hindustan Oil Corporation, NBPDCL, Nestlé, Jaguar, and new startups come to recruit. Around 50 percent of the batch got the internship, and some got into top consulting firms like BCG and McKinsey. Also, some got into Microsoft, Flipkart, and Uber. Roles offered are Summer associate, AI ML engineer, SDE trainee, and Powertrain.
Infrastructure: Classes in LHC have a beautiful infrastructure well-equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and silent proof. In the central library, you can find almost every book you want to read from your curriculum, as well as books that match your interests. The hostel is decent, we have a basketball court, cricket nets, a badminton court, and a TV room for cultural activities. Apart from that, I would say the mess food is average.
Faculty: Professors here are usually highly qualified, but some of them lack teaching skills. They taught in a manner that they are doing revision of their own, you are expected to grasp it in one go, as you have cleared the toughest examination to come here. I can say the curriculum is somewhat relevant, and also changes are made from time to time. Courses like computer-aided design and design of machines were taught to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are usually tough right from the beginning of your second year, as there is a relatively strict grading system. You may find it difficult.
Other: I didn't choose this course, the course chose me because of my rank. Like, there are some mathematical and software-related things we used to study for designing, and I loved it. I think that the course curriculum should be revised according to the current technology we have. We have Rendezvous asian the largest cultural fest, Tryst Technical fest of IIT Delhi, Becon organised by EDC, and a lot more. You have various scholarships here. If you come here and you are good at some sports, then I will recommend that you work hard, try for the inter IIT.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and quite good alumni connections.
Placements: Approximately 90 percent of students are placed in my branch. The highest was about 80 LPA and the minimum was 10-12 LPA, with an average of 20-22 LPA. Many people still want to place in tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and there are also core companies like Jaguar, Tata, and many more automobile companies. About 50-60 percent are managers or team heads.
Infrastructure: We have classrooms that have a digital board and all the basic things. Hostels are also quite good for that price. The mess food is also good, but we get bored due to the repetitive menu. Medical and spirit facilities are also better than any other government college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and many have done Ph.D. in their courses. My branch is quite relevant for the industry that it offers, and this makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult as there is relative grading, and students are also quite talented. There are exceptionally talented teachers on my campus, but students think that they are quite smart, so they attend classes a lot. The professors are good for average students.
Other: Actually, according to my rank, I am getting this course that's why I chose it. Between it, it is lesser competitive than CS, MNC, and electrical branches. You have a lot of time for other activities. According to my knowledge, it is still a traditional way of learning. It can be modernized a bit. We have a great alumni connection, both international and national; you can also find alumni by just searching IIT Delhi alumni. The fests are also quite amazing.
